Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

The little witch stood craning her head up to look at the door before her. Nerissa Haviland had recently coming into information to the hands of her Pims, information she had decided in her young wisdom she had decided to investigate. It had been easy to get away from her Father and Step-Mother, that had been busy with a twins and ignored the small girl for the most part. Her Mother was at work, so, in her small childlike brain it had been the best time to make her escape.

The escape itself had been easy, after all, Pims had simply taken her where she needed to go.

Neri turned her head and looked at her Pims, the tall elegant young looking woman who was her Grandmother.

“Are you staying?” she asked her Pims. The woman responded with a shake of her head, silvery hair gliding around her shoulders before she lent down and kissed her beloved Granddaughter on the cheek. Then without a word spoke, turned on the spot and disapperated. Neri watched the spot her Pims had been with a sigh.

The small girl knew she was going to get into trouble when someone noticed she was missing. But, the chance of meeting the man who was, hopefully, behind the door was something she’d set her mind too and nothing short of her Mother flying down on her would stop the girl. She wasn’t entirely sure if that would stop her either.

She was doing this for her Mother.

So after a few beats of looking at the space where her Pims had vanished from she turned back to the door and with all the grace her eight year old body possessed she knocked on it hard. Then she stepped back and waited for whomever was inside to answer.

Ministry Head ☆ Australian Minister of Magic, Co-Owner: The Drunken Roo, Owner: Victoria Magical & Native Wildlife Park★ LilyCat
52 year old Halfblood Human ☆ He/Him

Stuart was having a much needed day off, the footy was on the tele and he was wandering around in a casual shirt and jeans as he did a few odd jobs around the house, a stubby taken around everywhere with him, and Cecil following on his heels since Améa was currently with Mary at the moment. The fact that one of his eldest daughters was currently the age of one of his grandchildren absolutely didn't make his head hurt at all. Nope, not at all. Mary had taken the strange change on the chin, however, and decided that Améa could still help her out with the animals at the reserve, which was basically on the other side of the large fence that lined the man's large property. They'd be coming back for something to eat soon though, so he had a roast cooking in the oven while he pottered around.

It was while he'd stopped to check on the football score that he heard a soft knocking on the door, and stepped through the living room, partly distracted by the game. Once out of the room, he continued to the door, now wondering if it was Améa and Mary early, except neither of them knocked so softly... actually, they weren't required to knock at all. So who in the blazes would be coming here?

Upon opening the door, Stuart was first confused, the man having been looking straight ahead, expecting someone of at least an age to be wandering around going door to door or something. And then a moment later his gaze slid downward and he was met with... a child. A child he didn't know. Who was at his door.

"Uh... hey there kiddo. Are you supposed to be here? Where's your mum?" The man asked, warily, casting his gaze about. It'd be just like someone to try and set him up to get some snapshots of the Minister of Magic with a strange kid at his house. He wasn't falling for none of that. Though, he was sure his warning spells would have gone off if there were people wandering around the property, so... best to just see if the girl was lost and then call the police to help find her folks.
