Time to steal everyone's template. Also, I prefer Discord to discuss things, but you can always answer here. Beware the long text. Feel free to come up with any type of idea not mentioned, I don't mind any sort of plots whatsoever~

Chloe Stewart

c0NB9eX.jpg

Human Muggleborn Witch | 16 | Sturt | Combat Sports Monster | Model Kit Enthusiast

The daughter of two local business owners - her father owning a bakery and her mother a dojo -, Chloe is a somewhat shut in Sturt who cares way more about pursuing whatever strikes her fancy rather than socialize. She has obsessive tendencies over a select few subjects, making it so her skill in each thing rose exponentially over time, and is a great tutor to boot. Her social skills leave something to be desired. Out of respect for her mother she's trying to break out of her shell, but she can't say she cares for it much. But maybe you can help!

Spoiler

Friendship: Those whom tolerate her standoffish composure might find it easy to actually befriend her. While she's not the best conversationalist in the world, she's definitely a good listening ear and someone who can help people through tough times quite selflessly. People might also try to take advantage of her generosity in general. For genuine friendship, the best way to grab her attention is to be a constant in her life to the point of routine, rather than randomly doing things 'for fun'. Perhaps someone whom takes a genuine interest in her could opt for this route.

Romance: Not mincing any words, she's as dense as a brick wall in this aspect (an unrequited crush on her is very possible in this case, and might be fun to play out just how oblivious she can be - would be extra interesting if it was someone 'from another world' so to speak in comparison to her, such as a bully or a popular/social person). She's not exactly looking for it nor actually felt interested for anyone yet because all her attention is in her intellectual pursuits/hobbies; it doesn't help that she's more attracted to women than anything else, which absolutely destroys her already non-existent dating pool. However, it's possible that someone could catch her eye, in a slow burn kind of way - perhaps an assistant in one of these pursuits, someone who hangs out with her sister, someone she protected/helped in some way in the past, or even a dorm room mate. Speaking of dorm room mates...

Dorm Room Mate: That's a thing, isn't it? I asked. Also Chloe has a cute white cat. His name is Frost. Love it.

Interests: Chloe has several interests that might make it easier for someone to approach her in any capacity. The first of which would be the pursuit of any and all kinds of knowledge, she can often be found in the library or otherwise buried in books somewhere in town. On the Muggle side of things, she is very much a fan of programming, robotics and computers; she also has a guilty pleasure of watching stuff regarding robotics/mecha in some manner (i.e. Transformers, Gundam), sci-fi and space operas, and anything in the realm of shounen and tokusatsu. Inspired by Gundam in general, she also took on the activity of building and detailing gunpla figures, and occasionally military ones. She's also well versed in martial arts and combat sports (Muay Thai, Boxing, Krav Maga, Judo) and seems to be a talented flyer despite not really caring for anything Quidditch related. Finally, she seems to have a huge affinity with animals and magical creatures, as well as teaching - the younger, the better.

Tutoring: She's quite known for her patience with people, so colleagues in the same grade and ones below it might find themselves seeking her advice.

Future: Chloe is very undecided about her future. Should she program? Join the MRI? Become a magizoologist? Pursue teaching, and if so, in what area? The girl is ridiculously undecided, it being a major source of stress in her life - she feels like she's at the best point of her life to start specializing in something, and she can't pick for the life of her. Perhaps someone can influence her in one of those directions, or onto something entirely new instead...

Instant Death: If you mess with her sister. Yeeep.

Adoptables:
- Lexi Stewart (Sister) - They're glued at the hip and are best of friends. This would be the most positive influence of all in Chloe's life.
- Aneko Stewart (Mother) - Chloe's Japanese mother is inadvertently a helicopter parent over her social issues.
- Blake Stewart (Father) - Mostly a chill dude who thinks Mother worries too much, he's mostly a nerd who likes cooking a lot and loves his kids to death.

Jamie Collins

X3HOvf6.jpg

Human Halfblood Wizard | 22 | Australian National Quidditch Team Seeker | Living Merch Machine | Former Bourke

Half the product of a Muggle cartoonist and a pureblood witch whom dropped everything to be with him, Jamie is ultimately the end result of a broken household (along with his sister). While his public image - as well as what most know of him - portray him as a smack talking bad boy/ladies man, he actually prefers to keep to himself and is a rather nice individual. He hangs out in both Narrie and Melbourne, depending on the day. Maybe your nerds should meet him!

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: This might be the easiest way to get to him, Jamie has no qualms about hanging out with all sorts of people, and superficial friends are rather easy to gain for him. If someone wants to tread a bit deeper than that, though, they'll have to somehow break through his trust issues to get to the meat and potatoes, rather than just sticking to the occasional beer at his best friend's bar.

Romance: Despite the odd attractions/crushes that would occasionally sprout during his life, he never actually asked anybody out nor even had the courage to. He's been asked out, although mostly by fans - being a bit of a romantic, that doesn't cater to him at all, and he rejects them. That said, he might be open to it if someone closer asks. It's entirely possible that someone has/had a genuine crush on him completely unrelated to his successes. He has no preference gender wise.

Quidditch Team: If you're a team member, you probably know him in some manner; if you were in Quidditch teams in school when he was in Tally, same thing. That also applies for former Bourke people in general, and potentially a couple people from other houses.

Fans: With his public image come the fans, rabid or otherwise. Maybe they appreciate his looks; maybe they appreciate his prowess; maybe they appreciate his 'personality'; Jamie appeals to all ends in some extent. It wouldn't be unheard of to have someone recognize him in the street.

Adoptables:
- Zachary Collins (Father) - He left for unknown reasons when Jamie and Alex were 8. Nobody knows what became of him. What if he were to come back?
- Tabitha Collins (Mother) - Jamie lives to make sure this woman is alright (as well as his sister, of course). How did she process and live through her husband leaving her? Why does she still love him?
- Leon Lin (Uncle) - Jamie's and Alex's replacement father figure, and their mother's brother. A family man whom takes deep pride in the bonds he maintains with his close family members, he has a deep hatred for Jamie's father over what he did to them.
- Savannah Lin (Aunt) - A second mother to the twins, and best friend to their actual mother. She often serves as comfort to everyone involved in this messy situation.

Evelyn McCarthy-Parsons

yrWEQhj.jpg

Halfbreed Veela Witch | 28 | Corrupt Auror | Former Sturt | Tea Aficionado

Continuing the legacy of a famed Pureblood family with deep ties to the Ministry of Magic, Evelyn has always been one not only to meet expectations, but to exceed them in spectacular fashion. Her sheer talent is well met by her Veela blood and interpersonal capabilities, making her a well respected member of the wizarding community. However, this is all but a front to hide the true intention behind her every move - consolidate power.

Current Opens:

Spoiler

Friendship: Evelyn has either very many friends or she has none, depending on who you ask. Her socialite streak earned her numerous contacts throughout her life, even some that consider her a friend - this is fake to her, of course, but not like the other person would know. Anything past that thick layer of deception meets a much darker reality, something much harder to befriend. Either way, I'm open to either thing - old and new 'skin deep' friends, or someone interested in knowing more about Evelyn than she lets on.

Romance: She is married, even if it's fake - to the public, they're very happy and in love, and raising a teenager together. She has a number of ongoing affairs, and the occasional one night stand. They're either for fun or for information; if she feels threatened by that person's knowledge, she's not above erasing their memory of the encounter or intimate relationship without a shred of hesitation. These are all purely physical for her, even if she plays up the love struck schoolgirl character at times as means of being convincing. As for actual romance, while not aromantic, she has never felt romantically attracted to anyone before - perhaps there is someone out there whom can change that, and possibly show her that there's hope left for her. I see her as the type to fall hopelessly in love in first sight, so pre-planning might be required (though I'm open to other ideas). Finally, she is bisexual with a heavy preference for women.

Tea: For all her faults, her biggest one is her obsession with tea. It's not uncommon to find her browsing tea shops or find her somewhere trying out the new type of tea she heard about, or pretty much anything related to the beverage.

Former Class/Schoolmates: In what feels like a lifetime ago, Evelyn was a Sturt - a whole different person. Her initial transformation came about during this period. Perhaps there are people out there whom remember her as a shy kid, or whom recall how she grew out of her shell, or even befriended her since that time. She most likely keeps in touch with at least some people, even if with dubious intentions.

Teachers/School Staff: Given that she's sometimes asked to go give lectures on a variety of subjects, it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that she has more than a few staff members in her pocket as well.

Ministry of Magic: She should be well known within it, despite her young age, being a promising Auror within the ranks. She most likely employs her tactics to people within the ranks of the Ministry. It could also be that someone takes an interest in her, and not necessarily a benevolent one.

Corruption: Ultimately, Evelyn is all about survival. If you scratch her back, she'll scratch yours. Guided by her questionable morality, she might agree to help you in various things, but she always expects something in return. There's also the angle of her wanting something out of someone and trying to get them to do something nicely, have it not work, and finding herself having to employ such means as seduction, blackmailing and threatening to see it through. She probably has a number of 'working' relationships with shady characters as well to make her life easier, but has three or four backup plans each in case they decide to stab her in the back.

Adoptables:
- Eddie Knotley (Illegitimate Brother) - In the first few years after Evelyn's mother died, her father went absolutely haywire mentally. This also caused him to sleep with a number of women in hopes of finding comfort. This person is a product of such a relationship.
Patrick Parsons (Arranged Husband) - Her one close friend and partner in crime, they have similar goals to life. They married each other for political stability and status. He should be a pureblood as well. Despite the loveless relationship, they may get physical with one another at times.
- Alyona Parsons (Adopted Daughter) - The light in the end of a dark tunnel. This girl means the world to Evelyn. She was orphaned in a small town and saved from a mob of people whom were against witchcraft, and has been raised in a loving home ever since.

Samantha Hammond

MbKx0MX.jpg

Halfbreed Veela Witch | 15 | Bourke | Cinnamon Roll | Mother Hen

A very innocent yet friendly girl, she'll befriend you if you have a pulse. Bright and upbeat, she believes she exists to bring love and joy to the world, starting with you. She loves to hang out, have fun, care for people and go out on adventures with them. Unfortunately, she seems to be very susceptible to being manipulated and charmed, which might make people take advantage of her for kicks. But maybe your dorks should protect this cinnamon roll instead!

Friendship: If she's not your character's friend already, in under what rock have they been living in? She needs old and new friends, in a variety of closeness levels. Trying to become friends with her is going through easy mode in the social world. Keep in mind she always tries to see the best in people, so she will try to befriend your character no matter what, even if they're an asshole.

Romance: She doesn't date. This gave rise to the Hammond Challenge - who can take out this half-Veela first? The reason why she doesn't date is because she believes people who approach her that way only care for looks, and she's yet to be proven wrong. Perhaps you can. Finally, she's bisexual because this is me we're talking about here, what did you expect?

Dorm Room Mate: Since she's from Melbourne, she's staying at the dormitories during her academical career in Tally. Bonus points if this dorm mate has nowhere to stay during breaks, they get to go to the Hammonds and die via family-induced diabetes.

Teachers/School Staff: Sam is notorious for having academical difficulties, so they'd most likely take an interest in her and try to help - even more so considering she seems to study her ass off and still fails in anything that doesn't rely on muscle memory and instinct only. She also needs her learning disability diagnosed, and the ones most likely to detect something's wrong are them.

Interests: It's widely known that she has a think for cooking and baking, as well as outdoorsy activities - especially camping, hiking and rock climbing. Maybe there's someone out there whom she can bond with over these things. She's very gifted in singing/Musiciary/Muggle instruments as well, but she doesn't want you to know that.

People Reading: She's very good at detecting lies, emotions, and minute details expressed in a person's body. Perhaps this may be a way of her butting into someone's affairs out of concern, and help developing their plot. Or, they can just slap the hell out of her for thinking she's a Legilimens and looked in without permission. Either's fine.

Charming Weakness: Uh oh.

Family: Other than the adoptables mentioned below, the Hammond family has members out its sweat glands. There might be a chance your character might be tangentially related to them in some fashion.

Adoptables:
- Michael Sherman (Nephew) - Her oldest sister's first-born, he is 7 years old and attends Whitlam Bilby.
- Jason Sherman (Nephew) - Her oldest sister's second child, he is 6 years old and attends Whitlam Bilby.
- Junior Sherman (Ex-Brother-in-Law) - Her older sister's ex-husband, a pureblood wizard. They seemed to part on good terms, and he is still very much a friend of the family. He willingly let Keira take custody of his children due to being a workaholic and fearing being unable to give them a proper upbringing; and since the Hammonds have family out the ass, there's always someone there available to take care of them.
- Shreya Hammond (Older Sister) - This sister is 23 years old, and lives in Melbourne with Keira.
- Landon Hammond (Older Brother) - This brother is 19 years old, and arguably the member of the family who is closest to Sam all her life.
- Barbara Hammond (Mother) - A Veela, she seems to embrace the quirkiness of the Hammonds. She took on the tradition of creating a big family with glee, spawning four tiny Hammonds, one at a time. Now her oldest tiny Hammond has two tiny Hammonds (or Shermans?) of her own, and she's a proud grandmother. She's hoping for more, now that most of her children are of age.
- Colin Hammond (Father) - A pureblood wizard, and leader of this particular branch of the Hammond wizarding family. He upheld tradition and is very proud of it.

Alex Lin

PRuy4S8.jpg

Squib | 22 | Drummer | Child Caretaker | Cartoonist

Say hi to Jamie Collins' twin sister, Alex. She probably won't say hi back, but please bear with her. Past the obvious daddy issues, she's not half bad. She works really hard due to perceiving herself as having a disadvantage in comparison to Jamie, and if all goes well she'll have a few beers with you instead of punching you in the face. It's a bit of a gamble, but a worthwhile one!

Friendship: Tough cookie, but proves to be very sweet past that tough exterior. If she's not feeling particularly inflammatory when you first meet her, she might even go as far as enjoy a cup of coffee with you. The problem is getting past that threshold of 'mindless fun', as she's quite terrified of doing so. People can find in her both a nice hanging out/drinking buddy and a good challenge to overcome.

Romance: She has never felt a crush on anyone nor fallen in love, but she's been around the block a couple times. She'd describe her libido to be on the low end of the spectrum, so it might have been quite literally a couple times of her own accord. That said, the easiest way to make any sort of contact with her is for sure a no strings attached kind of deal. As for romance, she'd probably go out on meaningless dates and cut them off when she gets bored, and it would be tough to go much deeper than that (unless she finds the right person). Much like her brother, she's pansexual, except unlike him she's not deep in the closet.

Interests: She's a cartoonist and a drummer (she knows how to play the guitar and bass as well, and can sing, but she doesn't put those skills for sale like she does drumming), so any artistically inclined friends have a good chance of knowing her from some circles (provided they're in the same age/field).

Jamie's Fans: Maybe someone finds out she's his sister and decides to badger her for information. That wouldn't end well, but would make for an interesting interaction.

Children: She's a competent children caretaker, and likes them because they're very innocent of the world - she wants to protect them, since her father failed to do so. When around them, it's hard to upset her much at all. She might very well know children/parents here and work for them on a semi-regular basis.

Adoptables:
- Zachary Collins (Father) - He left for unknown reasons when Jamie and Alex were 8. Nobody knows what became of him. What if he were to come back?
- Tabitha Collins (Mother) - Alex and Jamie's mom, whom they adore very much.

Rachel Ryan

7B49KYQ.jpg

Human Pureblood Witch | 17 | Sturt | School & Sturt Quidditch Team Beater | Resident Tsundere

A victim of childhood neglect and many uprootings, Rachel doesn't have a place she can call home, or someone she can see herself be close to. The lack of attention from her parents growing up led her to think she's worthless in the grand scheme of things, and thus she isolates herself for the greater good. The most effective way she found of doing so is being a jerk to everyone she meets. Will you get through this front or will you just be another victim of her sharp tongue?

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: Rachel has never had a friend, nor knows how to actually make one. She really wants one, but she feels she's not worth their time, so the Great Walls of China are surrounding her heart and stopping progress. To get to this, someone has to take a sledgehammer to those walls and smash 'em nice and slow. That said, she can be pressured into things if she's convinced the person genuinely likes her in some manner, and do them regardless of wanting to do them or not due to her lack of self worth and wanting someone to pay attention to her.

Romance: Same as above. As far as orientations go, she's at the very least bi-curious.

School Teachers/Staff: The girl is brilliant, even if she doesn't realize it - but her superiors might through her exams. She doesn't seem too interested on taking that step to the next level, though, so there might be a very big push in order. She may also end up agreeing with joining additional subjects, as she deliberately opted for the bare minimum, having three open subject slots.

Bullying/Enemies: While she doesn't necessarily bully people right away, it can be perceived as such - she doesn't mince words and is quite hostile. She does bully those she openly dislikes for any given reason, and any bully that should target her instead is in for a world of hurt. Her attitude is also one to garner a lot of enemies really quickly.

Sports: She practices Quidditch, is very good at it, and intends to sign up for the following school year, therefore opponents and teammates are welcome. She's also into Athletics (especially running) and Baseball, so friendly competition in these sports might occur if anyone shares the interest.

Dorm Room Mate: She has to stay in Tallygarunga until her seventh year is complete, and she'll probably have someone putting up with her antics.

Looking For Trouble: While not necessarily a form of friendship, it wouldn't be too far fetched to have her go around with one or two people every now and then just to do stupid crap for no reason. Whether they be lackeys or equals, or even have her as a lackey, she sees it as a good way to decompress.

Music: She is an outstanding singer and pianist. That might warrant fans and rivals alike, and even detractors due to her personality.

Adoptables:
- Ashton Ryan (Mother) - Most likely connected to the International Wizarding Police. Isn't too close to her daughter, but cares for her despite the neglect.
- Emmanuel Ryan (Father) - Same as above.

Meadow Richards

GqRO9cD.jpg

Human Pureblood Witch | 16 | Flinders | Aspiring Nurse | Sickly

Meadow (or Amy, if you prefer) has a hard fought life. Sickly from the day she was born and treated as a burden by her parents ever since, she never had much happiness in her life until the point she joined Tallygarunga - which she adores. She was quick to socialize and befriend people and fit right into the academic setting - but, something is off. She looks like she's hiding something. Can your character be the first one to find out?

Current Opens:
N/A

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: She's very easygoing and likes small talk, and enjoys the company of people - or, at least, of a small group. Anything much larger than that will throw her off. She seems to tactfully avoiding specific subjects about herself, instead turning the conversation on its head and talking about the other person. She's personable, but not enough that she'd step out of her comfort zone to accommodate anyone. She seems to avoid hanging out with certain types of people outside of school, which can be perceived as elitism. It's easy to befriend her in general if you're not too off the cuff, so it should be easy to pursue this route.

Romance: She crushes on people easily, so if she came across your character before, it's entirely possible that she's liked them in the past, or will like them sometime soon without telling anyone (and have her blushes be the dead giveaway). She's not only too shy to ask someone out, but her parents also imposed strict regulations in whom she could even consider to do so. As such, the vast majority of possible relationships would wind up having to be secret. She also deliberately dates boys in her age bracket that fulfill her parents' wishes on occasion so to let them rest easy. Finally, I'll give you a monopoly dollar if you guess her orientation, for which she's closeted.

Work: She wants to get a part time job but her parents won't allow her to have one; as such, she'd greatly benefit from someone who could find her some sort of under the table gig.

Bullying: Her sickly self, coupled with cowardly tendencies, might make her the prime target for this can of worms.

Coward: She is a coward, plain and simple, and her life situation demands more courage and determination than anything she's ever faced - even her own illness. She needs something, or someone, to draw that from. And that's where you come in! Who will try to change her, and how?

Nursing: She seems to have an aptitude in this particular branch of magic. If your character has some sort of injury they want to avoid having the school nurse deal with due to fearing exposure to the Headmaster, they might want to go to Meadow instead.

Adoptables:
- Terry Richards (Father) - Not the best person in the world. A pureblood wizard from a prestigious family whom firmly believes in the power of status and blood purity.
- Ava Richards (Mother) - Same as above.

Shane Robbins

Foqomvk.jpg

Human Halfblood Wizard | 22 | VMU Student | Former Bourke | Bartender

Shane is a fellow known equal parts for his music skills and bad luck. Looking way older than he should be, he has problems befriending people his age outside of his friends group. He tries to stay away from the wizarding world in general due to feeling inadequate, not liking his wand too much. His mother owns a bar in Melbourne and he frequently handles it himself. Appearances aside, he's actually a pretty friendly guy if you give him the chance. Maybe you should!

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: This is by far the easiest way of approaching him. He doesn't have very many friends but he values the company he chooses to keep. He might seem a bit rough around the edges, but he never means anything malicious.

Romance: This man has the annoying tendency of 'sticking his dick in crazy' without first realizing it. His bad luck curse makes him naturally attracted to less than stable people. Old and new girlfriends of this type are welcome, but perhaps he'll meet his lucky charm someday.

Music: He's a Musiciary student in VMU and quite the virtuoso. He sometimes performs for the school on request, or at his bar. He's thinking of whether he should pursue classical music or not. Maybe your character appreciates his talent or can influence him to take on such a career path (or not).

Bartending: Your character might have had a rough day and needs liquid encouragement and a listening ear. Every other day, Shane might be the right person for this.

Misunderstandings/Accidents: He often gets stuck in these. Whether he's confused for a criminal, has his actions mistaken for harassment, or is ran over by someone on a bike, there's always a new story to tell at the end of the day. Get creative!

Adoptables:
- Simon Malone (Unknown Father) - A member of a family with a bad luck curse, this man should have no idea of Shane's existence. But what if he heard of a man with bad luck rivaling his?
- Hillary Robbins (Mother) - The strongest person Shane knows, she's raised him by herself from birth regardless of how many difficulties they faced.

Keira Hammond

XlXjWbT.jpg

Halfbreed Veela Squib | 27 | Political Pundit | Internet Sensation | Horror Buff

The first of the four Hammonds of her generation, Keira never set the best of examples for her siblings, try as she might. Her chaotic mindset caused her to marry while still in school, have two children, do drugs despite having children, take on a very intensive job despite having children, divorce at the young age of 25, among other things. She is definitely hard to deal with, but she isn't harsh out of malevolence - rather, out of a need to educate others. Maybe your character can get past all that snark!

Current Opens:
N/A

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: While she has a hard time mincing words, she isn't rude and harsh by default by any means - it's just that she doesn't have a filter, so if a given conversation leads towards something negative, she will voice it with complete disregard of how the other person might feel. She makes for a fine person to hang out with, having excellent witty comments and dry/childish humor accompanying her everywhere.

Romance: She is heteroflexible (although, in her show, she claims she's straight). She has the tendency of focusing too much on her work and not care that much at all for romantic relationships, or have them not be serious. That said, it's widely known that she is divorced and single for all intents and purposes, and a number of people might find themselves unwittingly ensnared by the girl's Veela-accentuated looks, which she places a great deal of importance and care in. Past flings are also acceptable, though mostly during her high school years.

Show/Column: Her name is getting a bit of a buzz in the Internet, especially on YouTube, as she tears through Australia's political landscape with brutal honesty and sarcastic jokes, as well as the occasional satirical piece; on the Wizardry side of things, she serves as a Squib correspondent to The Mage newspaper, making a weekly opinion piece. She definitely has at least a cult following, but like with everything, she also has her fair share of detractors. Your character can be either one of those. It could also be that your character is involved in the same thing and there's a working relationship between both.

Enemies: Something she's probably racked up all throughout her life. Whether it be a casualty of her rebellion, the one she tore down during her race for Student Council, people she's stepped over to get ahead or people whom got targeted and destroyed in a piece she made, the number is most likely in the dozens.

Family: Other than the adoptables mentioned below, the Hammond family has members out its sweat glands. There might be a chance your character might be tangentially related to them in some fashion.

Adoptables:
- Michael Sherman (Nephew) - Her first-born, he is 7 years old and attends Whitlam Bilby.
- Jason Sherman (Nephew) - Her second child, he is 6 years old and attends Whitlam Bilby.
- Junior Sherman (Ex-Husband) - Her ex-husband, a pureblood wizard. They seemed to part on good terms, and he is still very much a friend of the family. He willingly let Keira take custody of his children due to being a workaholic and fearing being unable to give them a proper upbringing; and since the Hammonds have family out the ass, there's always someone there available to take care of them.
- Shreya Hammond (Younger Sister) - This sister is 23 years old, and lives in Melbourne with Keira. She is very much an anchor to her reckless tendencies and the one person that can actually talk sense into her.
- Landon Hammond (Younger Brother) - This brother is 19 years old, and the little Hammond Keira had the biggest influence in raising.

Natasha Roberts

Quarter Fae Witch | 19 | Former Flinders | Talented Baker | Dueling Teacher

The daughter of an Indian Muggle and a witch, Natasha had her family be split apart when she was very young - her brothers lived in Narrie with her father, while she moved to Melbourne with her mother. She was always very sheltered and pushed harder than she'd like, but now that she's finished her studies and moved out of her mother's house rebellion is starting to sprout. Maybe you can help her with that!

Friendship: She is very friendly and enjoys small talk, as well as very competent and reliable, making for a trusted friend. It's likely that she made more than just a few buddies throughout her academic career, and still keeps up with them to this day. Old and new friends are welcome, in a variety of closeness levels.

Romance: She probably enjoys dressing up and going out on a date every now and then, regardless of how her family feels about it. It takes her a little while to actually like someone, but she actively wants to find her significant other since she's a hopeless romantic. Finally, she's a half-closeted bisexual in minor denial, so a relationship with a woman would be more complicated/interesting.

Former Dorm Room Mate: She stayed in Tally's Flinders house for three years. It's likely that she made a friend like this.

Current House Mate: She's rented out a room in a friend's house, and it's undetermined where she lives, so someone volunteering theirs for this would be nice.

Baking: She makes the best muffins in Narrie and brings all the fans to the Stewart family-owned bakery. It's not uncommon for her to engage in small talk with the patrons, and perhaps be on good terms with some of them.

Dueling Teacher: She oversees Tallygarunga's Dueling Club despite not being a student anymore, and as such is likely to befriend students closer to her age bracket. It's also possible that she gives private lessons to any students in the club that are having difficulty with anything.

Former Tallygarunga/Penrose friends: She was in Penrose for four years, and in Tallygarunga's Flinders for the last three. It's not unthinkable for her to have formed bonds through that extended amount of time, and maybe some are still in school.

Adoptables:
- Hala Patel (Father) - A man evading pursuit over his halfbreed heritage. He never told his children they have Fae blood in their veins, and is taking active measures to stay hidden (changed his identity, made sure his children had English names and had a less traditional upbringing to thwart their curiosity, hid in a small town, etc). He is a martial arts teacher working at the Stewart dojo. He had to live through the freak death of his first-born.
- Harper Luna (Mother) - Née Roberts, this is a woman whom fell in love with Natasha's father, although it didn't last forever. They had three children together. Their marriage was falling apart by the time Natasha was born, and she proved to be a very uncaring and cold individual through it all. She took the girl with her because she was the only one displaying magical capabilities, and didn't seem to care much about the news of her first-born being dead. She's remarried since and has a step-daughter which undergoes the same treatment Natasha does.
- Sebastian Roberts (Brother) - The second child of the trio, yet the oldest as the other one died. He is a squib and grew up with his older brother, and they were likely close. It would be interesting to play out how he's processed his brother's death, and how he's dealing with his sister's attempt to re-approach them after so long.
- Nolan Luna (Step-Father) - A man in a high level position within the Ministry of Magic that was transferred to work in Narrie a few years ago. He has a daughter the same age as Natasha. While probably not as strict as his wife, he does allow for the bullying to happen. Likely a pureblood.
- Angelina Luna (Step-Sister) - A girl the same age as Natasha whom actually bothered to give her the time of day. It's likely that they are on minimally good terms, and Natasha obsesses over this girl's well being.
- Roxana Lee (Step-Sister's Mother) - Most likely a pureblood witch. I assume she'd be somewhat up in arms regarding the treatment that her daughter is subjected to coming from her newfound step-mother, and by extension, the treatment Natasha's subjected to as well. Maybe she should butt in sometime.

Mark Sandoval

n6ycVPy.jpg

Human Halfblood Wizard | 22 | Former Flinders | Parselmouth | Nature Nerd

An orphan that was taken under the wing of Whitlam Bilby's and Tallygarunga's staff, Mark never lacked parental figures despite the lack of an official relative. He doesn't know where he's from or who spawned him, but isn't too keen on finding out. A socially awkward guy whom is a bit too nice for his own good, people will find it either very easy to befriend him or step over him. Which will you do?

Friendship: Few but good is the motto. While he likely has a number of acquaintances on good terms just due to his pleasant nature, it's likely that his passive way of life makes it so it rarely crosses skin deep pleasantries. He tries to find a basis of understanding with everyone, however, so he might have a friend anywhere, regardless of age or walks of life.

Romance: He's never dated or been with anyone intimately, nor had much curiosity about it. He's somewhat aware of his preferences pertaining both genders but doesn't find the motivation to pursue either. It would be interesting to place him in a situation where he either is attracted to someone out of the blue, or someone puts him in their sights instead.

Former Dorm Room Mate: From his time in the Flinders House. It's likely that the two are friends.

Current Room Mate(s): He lives in VMU and most likely shacked up with someone/a group of people as means to make rent.

Nature & Drawing: These are his interests and everybody can tell by just looking at him. He can nerd out for days about these things and doesn't seem to be able to hold a conversation in anything else competently. Maybe fellow nerds of the sort would find it easier to approach him than usual.

Adoptables: While he has no adoptables related to him to speak of, I'm willing to hear out any ideas regarding possible familial connections that Mark is unaware of.

Danielle Haynes

cwB4pqJ.jpg

Halfbreed Dhampir Witch | 16 | Bourke | Tinkerer | Hardline Pacifist

This girl doesn't know what a mundane life is. She's been on the run since she was born, lost the vast majority of people she was ever close to, and was eventually exiled in Australia along with her little sister. It's widely known she's a Dhampir and she keeps mostly to herself, distrusting people and disliking open areas. She really needs someone to tell her it's okay. Will you be it?

Current Opens:

Friendship: Despite the perceived preference for solitude, Danielle is actually very kind towards others and enjoys hearing about their day. She is by no means an introvert despite tendencies towards such activities and behavior - it's mostly a habit than anything else. It shouldn't take too much to break her out of her shell if you get past the thin layer of uneasiness she covers herself with.

Romance: Swings both ways and has no idea. She has never been allowed time to think of people in such a way, but now her life is about to settle down and thus she might. She has no idea of how to approach such things at all and they would in all likelihood look a bit too contrived for her - at least in the orthodox, cliché way. She would most likely go with the flow instead. That said, I see her having a lot of problems with physical intimacy given her very likely urge of wanting to suck the other person's neck dry, which she would probably perceive as uncontrollable out of fear for her heritage's nature.

Dorm Room Mate: Yeah. It's a thing. I have characters out the ass but I'm not rooming them together.

Discrimination: She's a Dhampir. It comes with the territory.

Muggle World Exploration: Given her peculiar upbringing, she's very ignorant of the ways of the world and a lot of the Muggle machinery that Australian wizards and witches are used to. She definitely needs many people's help to uncover all these gizmos and adapt to a new life. As such, she can also often be found in the school library, consuming as much content on Muggle Studies as she can.

Tinkering: She's always messing with something, charming it, and seeing what she can make it do. Things such as inventions, wand making, broom making and such things capture her interest very easily as it was most of what she got to do in her free time during the family war. Someone could take her under their wing to teach them their trade.

Adoption: She can, by all means, be adopted - she and her sister are in the system. She would most likely try to resist it, however, if her sister isn't included in the deal. That, or try to have her adopted instead.

Adoptables:
- Andrea Haynes (Adopted Sister) - She's about to enter Tallygarunga's first year. Danielle is watching over her, but she's scared of what sort of effect the death of two separate sets of parents will do to this little girl's mind. They are both in the adoption system.

Lisa Knotley

7zmmt3f.jpg

Human Halfblood Witch | 16 | Sturt | School & Sturt Quidditch Team Captain, Chaser | Sturt Dueling Club Captain

A girl who's made some very bad decisions in her life but either doesn't seem to realize it or doesn't show it. Lisa is an orphan enrolled in Tallygarunga, and her deepest desire in this world is to be better than you - a desire she devotes every single second of her time to. Whether it be in grades, skill, looks or anything else, she refuses to give up and always pushes past her own limits. Maybe she needs someone to help her cool off.

Current Opens:

Friendship: It's common knowledge that she has betrayed her best friend in the past, so perhaps most people would be cautious in approaching Lisa in such a way. Despite this, she keeps a few 'minions' with her at all times, but despite the evident difference in status within the group itself, she seems deeply caring for each and every one of them. Perhaps her elitism is wearing off?

Romance: Since her heart beats for another, anything in the way of reciprocation is not doable. However, given her prominence within the school in various things (Quidditch, dueling, grades, etc), it's extremely likely that someone likes her regardless despite her Queen Bitch persona. They'll just have to contend with the fact they have no chance.

Quidditch: She's the star Chaser of her team, and practices every day. Ranging from Quidditch friendships, rivalries and enmity, there's plenty to work with here.

Dueling Club: She's the Captain of her House, and achieved the position through rather ruthless means. She's a force to be reckoned with and probably instills fear in others within the club. It would be interesting to see what sorts of relationships could come from this, in the same way as with Quidditch. Or perhaps, someone wishes to be taken under her wing.

Fans & Detractors: Probably less of the former, but her sharp tongue has garnered a following, for better or worse. She's always been very in-your-face and blunt about what she's thinking, and her scathing sense of humor/propensity to jinx and hex might have earned the respect of like-minded people. On the other hand, a lot of people may detest her due to being an unwilling target.

Challenges: It doesn't matter what it is. If she sees it can be done and there's a sense of accomplishment, she'll do it. Your character may want to challenge her in some manner, or be aware of her various accomplishments and hold a sense of respect for them.

Adoptables:
- Eddie Knotley (Brother) - The man had to take care of her ever since their father passed on. They're both orphans, and she rarely visits home so not to be a burden for him. What does he do for a living? How did he take his parents' passing? What does he think of his sister?
- Hailey Kennedy (Former Roommate/Best Friend) - A fellow House member that helped her through grief, this student endured a very large humiliation - she suffered an extremely one sided defeat at the hands of her former best friend, whom ruthlessly cast her aside to achieve success. She decided not to speak to Lisa since, and has moved to another dorm room. Does she still hold a grudge? Does she want to forgive her? Does she want her best friend back? Does she want to humiliate her? MUST BE A STURT
- Jane Reid (Ex-Girlfriend) - A memory charm certainly made things more complicated between them...

Amber Cross

MFiRNK8.jpg

Human Halfblood Witch | 15 | Spencer | School & Spencer Quidditch Team Seeker | Pro Wrestler

She's the daughter of a pro halfbreed rights couple whom perished during a lynching. She seems very proud of them and to be following in their footsteps. She has been adopted by Sibylla Townsend and now lives in Narrie. She has a deep dark secret she keeps from everyone - even if she doesn't necessarily go to great lengths to cover it in the first place. Maybe your nerd should find out about it!

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: She's a very friendly and upbeat person (even if rough around the edges) whom most likely has very little trouble making friends everywhere she goes. Old and new friends are always welcome. She's also very much a pop culture/Quidditch/pro wrestling nerd, so it's always easy to strike up a conversation. Lastly, she's the first to jump on the opportunity to do something really stupid for fun. Among stupid things she does, she often greets her closer friends by either jumping on them or pranking them.

Romance: She's kind of embarrassed about not having ever dated someone so she kinda lies about it. The whole topic is very awkward to her - not because she doesn't want to, but because she isn't sure how to go about it because she's painfully aware not everyone is as enthusiastic as her, especially when it comes with something as delicate as romantic attraction. That said, crushes (either outgoing or incoming) are likely. She might occasionally flirt as a part of a joke but it shouldn't be taken seriously. Finally, she wears a bisexual flag bracelet among the bunch in her arms, so she's out and proud.

Pro Wrestling: Her big secret. She goes by the name Dana Stark in Melbourne's indie wrestling circuit. While she eats a lot of losses there's a lot of promise in her athletic ability and in-ring psychology. It's possible that she's made a couple fans - wouldn't it be awkward for them to meet the girl outside the world of pro wrestling? The reverse would also be interesting - someone not expecting to find her in such a show, and yet, there she is.

Quidditch: She's very enthusiastic about the sport and is a very agile Seeker for the Spencer team. She doesn't really let enmity get to her when it comes to this, so friendly rivalries are her kind of thing.

Halfbreed Activism: With all loud and proud activists of any opinion, there are always their respective detractors. Also perhaps halfbreed people feel more at ease around her. Lastly, she's a walking Veela detector.

Enemies: While she herself doesn't care to make enemies per se, she can hold a grudge. She's also very much against malicious individuals and quite loud about it. It's also likely that her boisterous way of life got under someone's skin at one point or another.

Adoptables:
None, but take a look-see at LilyCat's Mairead Townsend adoptable by all means!

Diana Sharpe

Human Muggleborn Witch | 25 | Former Bourke | Journalist for The Mage Newspaper | Amateur Photographer

If by miracle you seem to notice Diana's presence and engage her in conversation, you'll soon realize that behind the kind smile lies a shy girl with a nebulous past. She doesn't like attracting too much attention to herself (unless it's about her job) and feels nervous around new people, but fortunately is nice enough to make it so almost any engagement is pleasant. She might need some help in being more engaging, and you might just be what she needs.

Friendship: She has a boatload of acquaintances and a rather large network for the sake of work - whether they be past Tallygarunga people, to VMU people, to politicians and Aurors, to freelancers like she once was, you name it. She's a bit too shy about getting much closer than that to a given person though, unless the other party gives it a little push. The truth is she feels a little bit lonely with having to pull herself away (discreetly) from her best friend and his girlfriend for everyone's sake. Adding to this, she should have around 2~3 more close friends so feel free to pitch them. It's possible that they end up being former Bourkes with whom she shared a bedroom with from both times she was in Tallygarunga. It's also likely that these friends 'volunteer' her to be their listening ear for anything and everything since she's actually good at this.

Romance: Oh boy. Firstly, back in her Tallygarunga/extremely early VMU days, she dated every now and again so it's possible that there are people out there whom fall in this category - it just didn't either amount to anything or get very far since she's still a virgin. After a point she fell in love with someone and refused to date ever since because it feels like pseudo-cheating. That said, in the rare times she does attract someone's attention, she seems to eclipse everyone around her in that regard without wanting to and thus one-sided crushes are possible. In fact, there's an adoptable for exactly that.

Photography: She sometimes goes around town in her free time to take candid pictures of random things/people, and Brownie the half-kneazle sometimes accompanies her in this endeavor. She could run into someone while doing this.

Interests: She likes romantic comedies, herbology/muggle gardening and potioneering so it's easy to approach her in this regard.

Work: Colleagues, bosses and fans of her work are welcome. She's been at it for a while (even during college) but only now she hit the big leagues. She can be considered a 'rookie' still, all things considered, but she doesn't let that get in the way of her work.

Adoptables:
- Gideon Sharpe (Brother) - A boy about to start his fourth year in Tallygarunga, he's under Diana's legal guardianship. He was uprooted from Mildura without his consent and taken to Narrie, and now his sister works herself to death to make sure he's provided for.
- Kyle Fairgood (Best Friend) - They're thick as thieves and they've known each other since their early Tallygarunga years. They have helped each other through more things than they can count (some of which illegal) and are there for one another no matter what.
- Amalea Evans (Best Friend's Girlfriend) - Diana introduced the two after meeting her and quickly befriending her in VMU. Quite unfortunate, since she's been head over heels for this girl for the better part of four years now.
- ??? Mackey (Past Person) - Someone whom had feelings for Diana when she was still in Mildura to complete her Muggle education. They watched as she disappeared overnight. What happened to her? Why can't they get over her? What are they going to do when they find where she is?

MJ Clarke

AG4ykka.jpg

Human Halfblood Witch | 15 | Flinders | Ghost Whisperer | Bootleg MacGyver

A friendless girl with a mostly undeserved reputation, MJ is the quiet type. The less waves she makes, the easier her day will be - not that she actually has the capacity to catch people's attention, or so she believes. In her past lies tragedy aplenty, but she doesn't seem to like talking about it; hell, she's not very good at the whole 'talking' endeavor in general unless she's close to whoever she's speaking to. But perhaps those who don't get fooled by the 'creepy graveyard keeper's daughter' reputation and give her a shot regardless are in for a pleasant surprise...

Friendship: The one thing in life she desires the most (other than having her sister return safe and sound, of course). During her childhood she was ostracized by her peers; while that didn't exactly happen during her Tallygarunga years, the Muggle school ones did with enough severity that it scarred her for life and made her socially anxious. Approaching people of her own volition is exceedingly difficult, and she greatly appreciates others taking the initiative. Past the initial wall she has with any and all strangers there's an amiable girl waiting to create friendships that are actually outside of her family. While she is mostly passive, she probably wouldn't be too comfortable around strong personalities and they'd have to dial it down somewhat around her. A good sense of humor helps, as well as willingness to go places.

Romance: It's likely that she develops a serious, unrequited crush on someone who seems to be a very good person and/or who tries to treat her right. I wouldn't say crushes on her are very probable but it could happen as well. She would have a serious problem making the approach though, for the reasons described above. She's not the type for mild crushes or flings; that's not to say she's suffocating, it's just that she places a lot of importance in those things. And as you may have guessed, she swings both ways.

School Work: She's a very dependable teammate and has earned a reputation for how effective she is in such things. Maybe she's one of the first people  your character considers when it comes to group work.

Graveyard: She's often found there, as it is her father's workplace and a public location - she knows the area like the back of her hand. She also visits her mother's grave a lot, and goes to the ghosts when needing advice. If your character goes there, there's a chance they'll run into her.

Murrigal Bushland: She has a small survivalist HQ there - a tree house and a number of small hideouts in the surrounding area, as well as supplies. This is pretty much her 'me' spot, and she rarely (if ever) dares to bring someone to the area; instead, the ones allowed there are the local animals, whether that live there or that she treats. However, it could be the case that your character either gets close enough that they're invited, or that they accidentally run into it despite it being a ways away from common paths.

Arts & Crafts: MJ runs a little business of selling clothing she knits, and selling paper cutting creations. This is so she makes spare change and relieves her father of expenses towards herself, at least. If you want to buy her some coffee, might as well ask her for a little craft from hers, eh?

Work: She's not yet legal enough to work, but she's already looking for some sort of place that would be willing to take her in in a part-time schedule the moment she's 15. Preferentially not something that makes her deal with the public directly. On the plus side, she's very good with her hands and in management...

Sister: It's unclear what happened to Vivian Clarke. If you have an idea that can include what truly happened to this kid, hit me up. What if MJ were to find out?

Adoptables:
Maxwell Clarke (Father) - A Muggle graveyard keeper in Narragyambie that lost his youngest daughter and his wife. He's been solo parenting ever since, and doing his very best. How is he holding up after so many years?
Justice Clarke (Brother) - A third year in Tallygarunga. His twin sister disappeared when he was a second grader in the Muggle school system. How has he processed everything since then?

Laurie Kempf

pmpHO2D.jpg

Human Halfblood Witch | 15 | Spencer | Durmstrang Institute Exchange Student | Pranking God

Meet Laurie, a girl hailing from the Durmstrang Institute. She hates it there. She really does. She couldn't be more relieved to be in Tallygarunga, even if it wasn't her first choice! Fresh off the boat, she's looking to explore the area, try new things, and thoroughly enjoy a level of freedom she never got to experience before - whether it is for better or worse, she doesn't care. Maybe your character can show her around town, and get a few Dark Arts lessons in exchange.

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Friendship: While it's not that hard to befriend her, it's not that difficult either to accidentally waltz into her bad side, so proceed with a minimal amount of caution. She's relaxed and calm about things most of the time, so even if seemingly disinterested and lonesome that can make for an easy approach and her quips for thorough entertainment. Just don't expect her to make the first approach though, because unless you are actively beneficial for any of her plans, she won't notice you exist.

Romance: This girl has problems settling down - she rather likes her freedom. She dislikes things seen as 'gooey romantic' and doesn't like feeling tied down: calling her constantly and cuddling all the time would have her run for the hills real quick. If someone gives her the space that she needs, however, it might be doable. That said, she's not the crushing type and prefers flings as a default. She is predominantly attracted to women (the more girly the better), but has also been attracted to more feminine men before.

Pranking: She doesn't constantly prank people, but her ability is the stuff of legends - at least, her creativity in combination with Durmstrang's curriculum in the Dark Arts ensured. People might be interested in running a prank with her or two, or even to have her teach them a few things. Or worse, they might end up being a target.

Exploring Narrie: She's new in town - it's just Laurie, her skateboard, and free time after class. Maybe somebody should help her in this endeavor.

Adoptables: N/A (you're welcome)

May Bowen

UAteAmw.jpg

Halfbreed Dhampir Witch | 26 | Former Bourke | Bounty Hunter | Walking Mystery

More popular than she gives herself credit for, May is a bit of an accidental social butterfly whom isn't actually that talkative at all - she's just really good at paying attention to other people's needs, giving them advice and potentially acting in their best interest. Of course, at least until the point she thinks they're prodding at her own life too much, at which point she moves on. A heiress of a criminal family in Perth, for the longest time she's been raised to evade that title, only to make the conscious decision of keeping the family business alive, even if indirectly. It's made more than a few ripples throughout her life and has made her more wary of any kind of potential relationships from that point on. Maybe your nerd can tear at that shell!

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: Despite being a mostly serious and no-nonsense type of person, she's always had a bit of an ease making friends with people from all walks of life. She isn't one to discriminate (especially given her own situation), and is very tolerant of other people in general, often taking an interest in getting to know how they operate and even trying things out that they enjoy. However, it seems that ever since her return to Victoria, she's been somewhat reluctant to let people get too close.

Romance: Due to personal reasons, it's not something she's interested in presently - whether serious or otherwise. She might indulge someone in a platonic date but that's as far as it would go, meaning the only thing in this area presently would be one sided affection directed at her.

Atonement: She's dropped everything four years ago and left without leaving a trace, ghosting everyone for their safety, and now she's back and tracking down the people she did hold close so to apologize. Maybe they'll be happy she's back. Maybe they'll be furious that she left like that. Maybe... something else? Who knows. Almost any type of shared past is acceptable.

Work: Subduing and possibly killing folks isn't an easy job. She needs people to target, and people to cooperate with, as well as an extensive network to move around and obtain information from.

Random Encounters: She's very easily approachable and has a penchant for going after those she perceives to be in need. If you have a problem, this is the girl you want to hit up.

Adoptables: While she has no adoptables, I'm willing to hear you out on a character you may want to create that touches on her past and activities in Perth! Maybe she has an ally in Melbourne/Narrie, or an enemy, or anything in between. Go wild with ideas.

Ian Travers

NQC57Ra.jpg

Halfbreed Dhampir Wizard | 15 | Flinders | Martial Artist | Helping Hand

May Bowen's youngest brother, Ian has been through a lot. Despite having a solid and happy upbringing back in Perth, things turned very bad, very quickly. Losing most of what was dear to him, he was sent to Narragyambie under a new identity to start anew. Taking like a fish to water to this situation while stifling his grief, Ian soon became obsessed with helping everyone - not one person has seen him with anything less than a smile on his face and a kind word to impart. But someone's niceness can only go so far, right? Maybe your character should learn how to push his buttons!

Current Opens:

Current Ideas:

Spoiler

Friendship: Ian actively goes out of his way to befriend everyone - he believes that the longer he'll stick close to them the more prone they are to let him in, and therefore the more he can help people. And the more he can help people, the happier they are. He's quick to forgive if someone deeply wrongs him, childlike innocence and deep self-neglect clouding his judgement. It's said that he has at least one friend in every House, in every club, and in every year. Who can resist that bright smile of his, really?

Romance: He hasn't felt anything for anyone before, to his knowledge; and given his current mental state, one could argue he's emotionally unavailable. However, if someone should ask him out, he'd say yes without thinking twice about it - not out of desperation, but because he wants to help that person out and not hurt them. This could potentially spiral into this boy becoming involved in a proper relationship with someone he doesn't care for that way, but he'd pretend he does for their sake.

Roommate: Despite his sister living in Narrie, he's been made to board Tallygarunga for the duration of his enrollment. Therefore, he needs one of these!

Helping: Other than cooking, he deems this his life's purpose. It doesn't matter what needs to be done - he will always be there to do it. If your character has any sort of problem whatsoever, they probably should run to find Ian.

Sports: A very sporty young man, Ian is a practitioner of various martial arts. He is also a parkour aficionado, doing it very often. Workout partners of any kind (or sparring partners) would be welcomed.

Adoptables: He doesn't have any adoptables but I'd be up for hearing ideas.

If you have any other ideas, please, feel free to mention them. I'd also like to come up with previously existing interactions/possible connections to gain a steadier ground here as things start. Thanks for reading :)

Hoi! I'm your friendly neighborhood WAKE THIEF I mean, Kai.

It is taking me much longer than expected to do this portion since it's been a bit since I last looked at my own plotter! Had to do some double fact checking. *Puts on glasses with a  bubble pipe.*

Starting off with Friendship I do have two Tally student boyos, the first that comes to mind due to not only seniority and longevity in the school is @Tyson McKennis whom is a Bourke - starting Quidditich player as a chaser and a Seventh year in the school. He also is known for his constant desire to work out physically to push his bodies limits and get stronger while also keeping in shape. He takes up the muggle art of Muay Thai (So, there is the commonality of the love for Martial Arts in play there!) He's Muggleborn, however, so his ties to the Magical community started in his first year at Tally. If Chole's been around since her first year then they may have crossed paths enough to build up that mutual respect for martial combat.

Next is the 'newly arrived' @Alexander Winfield , by that I mean he arrived at Tally December of 2017 building up a familiarity to the School before the 2018 year had kicked off. He's a Spencer and in a peculiar situation of being in a lower grade than he should be due to a magical imbalance. (Story reason, am I right?). Aside from being known probably across campus as the 'Sickly boy on occasions' he also decided to make enter in the school year with a big 'splash' by hosting an authorized party in the Main Hall where he played and sang. Kind of a breaking in the new year to get people together and familiar while, admittedly, trying to build up his own fanbase. He's academically sound yet it is also by now a known fact that his magic is cast at the whim of chance itself as far as successes go. His adopted father was a Wizard and thus has ties to the magical community, slap that with the fact that Alex has always been sickly since childhood it could place him right in the Narrie general hospital area. So, it could be possible that they may have been acquittanced more than enough times by visits to the Bakery to try and 'cheer him up.'

@Kaitore Okay, let's see one by one.

Regarding @Tyson McKennis, I'll go one step further and I'd say they could have been sparring buddies in the past. Muay Thay is actually one of the few disciplines she's studied since she was a kid, but I assume he's far more qualified in it than her since he focuses on it, while Chloe branched out to a whole bunch. Another idea is that, considering he's very much into Quidditch, he might be painfully aware of Chloe's innate ability in it - which might serve for some curious interactions, should he want to push her in that direction. Definitely agreed on the mutual respect angle here, that's very much a given, perhaps we could say they're acquaintances on good terms.

Onto @Alexander Winfield. Chloe probably doesn't even remember his face from that singing experiment because she wouldn't particularly care; she would glance in curiosity at best before her attention was pulled towards her food inevitably instead. As far as the bakery goes, it's possible that they've seen each other a handful of times (Chloe didn't care for visiting a lot since she'd rather sit at home and read). If that's the case, unless they had some sort of important conversation during one of those times, it's likely that she doesn't remember him at all once again - but perhaps he has an easier time remembering her?

That sounds like a plan! Tyson is always up for trying to get folks into playing Quidditich especially if they have the innate talent for it! He had dedicated a lot towards Muay Thai enough to be an assistant in a muggle dojo for younger teens. The fact that she'd be talented in multiple branches of Martial Arts would be a trigger of interest for him - mostly wondering the kind of regiment she'd go under to make sure her body had been tuned to manage each one.

Ever the bookling! Haha, fair enough and understandable! He might have a bit of an easier time a lapse in memory isn't in his alley. That he hadn't really encountered many people long-term in his life at a certain point so certain others would stick out. It'd most likely take him a few days to piece together, kind of like a haze from a dream that you're trying to not forget.

The bold part made me curious - would it be possible for Tyson to have trained (and assisted) at Chloe's mother's dojo, specifically? Since that's where Chloe trained all her life and would definitely make for a much bigger background between the two.

Sure, I'm game for that! I never gave much of indication on specifics on that so it's definitely an opened option! One that I like. I think that established background will help in a lot of ways too with the ever evolving personal plots.

Alright, that's settled. We can also assume they run into each other in a semi-daily basis because of it, too.

As for Alexander, we could go with the whole 'he remembers but she doesn't' thing. Could that lead to awkward acquaintances of sorts? I'm unsure on what to explore there.

Very awkward, Alex isn't used to not being easily noticed on the count that his eyes aren't entirely a. atural blue hue that many would be accustomed towards. I think their slight difference in certain focuses could make it awkward. While he has been training in boxing of late he is no way privy to the various martial disciplines.

He is however very keen in studies more so towards magical theory, healing and alchemy. (A very not so long tale on the why! Lol) But I think the re-discovery as a whole is the exploration. While maybe not well grounded in the past it's the familiarity or rather the imagined familiarity I think would be the starting spark of sorts.

Alchemy is a subject they have in common, but it's mere curiosity for Chloe rather than a passion in that case. Regardless, that's more common ground. But anyway, sure. A little something over time would do all that recalling and we'd go from there.

Kelton and @Samantha Hammond // I feel like these two would be good friends. They are around the same age. Like Kel, Sam is easy to make friends with, So I feel it would be good for them to get to know each other.

Kelton and @Danielle Haynes // not sure how these two could interact I just like he story and how she came to be. Would love to see if you have any ideas.

Oh allo there! Okay, let's see...

Kelton & Samantha - Sure! If someone exists she's automatically their friend, it's a law of the universe or something. Should be enough to just throw them into something together and watch the friendship flourish. Hit me up on Discord so we go over some new thread ideas!

Kelton & Danielle - I don't have any ideas on how to bring those two closer together per se, but I can say that she has a thread that you can chuck Kel at. Hooray!

Now, for my idea, but it's more of stating the obvious than anything else.

Kelton & Amber - She's his upperclasswoman in Spencer by one year and a ball of energy. She likes befriending people and doesn't take life too seriously, and would definitely make an effort in befriending her fellow Spencer housemates. Adding to that, she's good friends with Samantha - it's very common to spot them together, and it might be an avenue through which Kel actually meets Sam if they don't know each other already.

Andrea &

  • Meadow:

It would probably depend on the characters that will be attending Wandless Magic Class but I think Andrea might take a linking to Meadow. Andrea isn't the nicest person but I can see her trying to help Meadow, even if Meadow doesn't take her class I'm sure they are probably going to meet in the hallways.

  • Students that might take Wandless Magic Class:

Any student that will be taking Wandless Magic Class I'm sure they will get to know Andrea, some will like her and some won't.

Cheers. Meadow does take Wandless Magic! She's very studious for that matter, and would be one of the better students for sure since it's not a subject she outright hates (roughly half of the ones she takes are such a thing). Also, help in what manner?

Regarding the other students, everyone takes the subject except for Samantha, to varying degrees of success. Lisa wouldn't be satisfied with anything other than top of the class, Chloe would be competent, Danielle doesn't really have to be there at all but has been told to 'rein it in and look ordinary', Rachel has the occasional burst of brilliance, and expect accidents aplenty from Amber (not because she sucks, per se, but because she likes not to do what she's told a bit too much).

Andrea would enjoy someone who's studious and someone who actually pays attention to class. By help I mean if Meadow is being bullied Andrea would intervene and would try to sort the situation, she would probably give some unsolicited advice that Meadow doesn't have to let others bully her.

As for the other class members. Lisa will probably annoy Andrea just for the simple fact that she wants to be better than everyone else, Andrea won't take sides in class but I highly doubt they will even get along outside, besides who wants to get along with their teachers? As for Danielle, Chloe, and Rachel, I have no input on them at the moment. As for Amber, I can see Andrea's "I told you so..." face quite often, and with a small tear in the corner or her eyes because she was just like Amber when she was a kid.

RE: Bully, a while back, there was some idle chatter in Discord about @Sadrienne's Lauren Burdett being a potential bully when it comes to Meadow (and having another character punch her in the face for the trouble, but that's beside the point, and DON'T ASK HOW I REMEMBER THESE THINGS STILL AAAAAAAAA). Maybe we can all work up something eventually along those lines? That and keeping Amber from chasing down her likely frenemy and squeezing a joint until she hears it pop.

As for Amber in class, she's a good egg. She's just dumb and hyper. Please take care of her, sensei. And as for Lisa, that's most likely the response she gets out of 70% of the people she meets, so sounds good xD

That sounds promising and interesting at the same time :D

I have a feeling I'm going to like Amber. Don't worry, Andrea will take good care of Amber don't worry.

Let me know when you're up for something 😄 and we can discuss the smaller details as we move along ;)

Added MJ Clarke to the splotter, and edited a couple things in other characters' plotting things.

Rachel & Keaton -> Competition in Quidditch, for definite. >:]

Meadow & Keaton-> K is easy to approach, so perhaps these two may have chatted over the years at various stages due to being in the same year-group. Due to Keaton's experimental nature over the years, maybe he could have approached her to heal an injury from a strange burn or something occasionally, having not trusted the school-matron not to question or look into what he was up to. I think it would be pretty hilarious if she had, had a crush on him at some point also! Awkwardness is entertaining. xD

Lisa & Keaton -> I can see pure competitive spirit between these two. Both rival chasers, academic. He would find entertainment in her sharp tongue and would have chosen her a few times to flirt with - not even minding that nothing would come from it. I can see him as being on the end of a few hexes from her wand for being so irritating which would only cause Keaton to continue, of course.

Amber & Keaton -> Friends, please please pleaseeee. Not only are they both friendly and upbeat people, they are also Quidditch teammates. K pushes himself when it comes to quidditch and he literally lives and breaths it during the season. He would try his best not to flirt with a fellow teammate, but I can anticipate some friendly teasing occasionally. Pranking? Check. Keaton lives to retaliate with all he has if he's subject to a prank himself and finds the engaging of a prank war extremely fun and creative.

Excuse my rambling on and on, I'm a bit sleepy now - so please include the thoughts you have too on what I have written! I will also come back again when I  get used to writing Keaton as a character even more! ❤️

@Lee

RE: Rachel & Keaton - Yeah, this one's a no brainer. He just needs to keep an eye out for both her outstanding bludger aiming and caustic insults on occasion.

RE: Meadow & Keaton - In that case, he might have actually played a role in terms of making her 'explore' her healing talents, so to speak. She usually tries to keep those abilities on the down low because she doesn't want her parents finding out she's in all likelihood following in her sister's footsteps, but would have helped him when prompted and not ask questions because she wouldn't want to know. As far as crushes go, it's very likely that she had one in the past (perhaps even more than once), or if you want, she can have one presently. Either way, it wouldn't/won't last for more than a couple months.

RE: Lisa & Keaton - It would take quite a bit for him to actually be considered her 'rival', at least in her point of view - she's well on her way to becoming an actual pro athlete with her talents, and coupled with that big head of hers, she has a bit of an issue recognizing people at her level (even if she sometimes might - it could be they played each other to a standstill before, which would most certainly contribute to a rivalry situation). Regarding flirting, it always depends very much on her mood in that given day. She does relish in the attention and occasionally goes for it to try and forget about her ex, and has in the past. She might also dismiss him, or she might even flirt back. The chance of the latter increases if she does deem him a competent rival, because, as she  usually says, 'she has standards'. Given that she genuinely appreciates rivalries, the chance of hexes and jinxes decrease unless she doesn't manage to brush off his antics (or even take part in them).

RE: Amber & Keaton - Please with a little cherry on top, huh? Hah, sure. She befriends everyone under the sun (hell, she's actively befriending Lauren god damn Burdett of all people, talk to Sadri if you want K to casually perish or something) but closer friends never hurt either. Flirting wise, if he has ever let it slip, he'd notice she's very easily embarrassed but always seems to make things worse: she's quite the masochist in that regard, and actually has an attraction to people who put her through the grinder (see: Evelyn McCarthy-Parsons, Travis Franklin). And finally, if they are on the closer range of friendship (i.e. hang out frequently), he would very likely befriend Samantha Hammond as well. She and Amber are cousins and glued to the hip.

Samantha & Keaton  - Keaton also being friends with Samantha does work quite well and makes sense. (Now that I'm awake and not half asleep & rambling away like a loon.) I can see K as being somewhat protective over her, as highlighted in his app he is very protective over his friends/who he spends most of his time with. I can also see her being one of many to scold him if he's got into some sort of trouble again e.g. a prank goes wrong and somehow he's the one with skin the colour of the technicolor dreamcoat for twenty-four hours, making it very obvious as to what he was aiming to do.

As for every other combo, I'm eager to get a thread or two going when you have the chance...a lucky-dip of who we thread first - if that makes sense? :P
