  1. Invite We are a special speck of dust

    Maxine Williams
The past few weeks hadn’t been easy. Max wasn’t even sure if it was the right thing to do, considering he hasn’t even told her anything, but she was confident that the information she had about Senan’s birthday was correct. He could have lied in the admission and the birthday there would be a fake one, but it was the next best thing, it was the only date she had, and it was good enough for her, besides, it was just a date, right? It was the thought that counted. But, before they could delve into a celebration she did have things to tell him, the fact that the explosion had caught the attention of the counsellor wasn’t good, but she only needed to wait a few more months, if she got caught doing something she shouldn’t the chances of being trapped until her eighteenth birthday were high. She wasn’t going to worry about it, for now anyway. A small cake in hand she arrived at the house and stored it in the fridge, it had to be a surprise, a one-woman surprise but still a surprise. She opted to place the amulet on the counter before moving to the most important thing that house was missing, finishing that goddamn wall. She had started it but never really had the opportunity to finish it, especially the past days. Starting slowly with black paint, drawing a silhouette of a large tree, underneath the branches people sitting, staring at a large body of water, perhaps a lake. That was the easy part, but maybe if she had started with the background, instead of being an idiot, that job would have taken half the time than it took. She started by trying to illustrate a sunset, which she ultimately made it work, that was being admired by the ones sitting under the tree. At the end, she just needed to fix the missing bits of black paint from the silhouettes. Clearly, she didn’t prioritize things as she should have. Finishing the wall took her way too long, but at least it was done. Now she had to create an illusion that it was still the same old boring colour before Senan got her message to meet her at the house. There was still one last thing she had to do before he got there, she needed to clean the living room, store the paint and take a shower, she looked like she had bathed herself in paint. She left a note on the counter, making sure Senan would know where she was in case he walked into the house and she was still trying to take paint off her skin, and hop into the shower, hopefully he would be home by the time she was done.
  2. Invite Coming Clean

Max left the Hospital Wing, it had seemed that her arm still wasn’t healed but considering how the nurses wanted her gone, Max was sent to her dorm quicker than she should have. Luckily for her Laurie was there to lend her a hand and to help her take everything she had down at the Hospital Wing up to her room. Eventually Max had to come clean with everything that had commented, the accident had been a wake up call for Max to start trusting Laurie’s judgement, Laurie wasn’t going to get herself in trouble, but if my any chance Max did, at least the exchange student would know the reason. The room was as good as new, they had done a great job fixing it, or so Max assume considering the blast might have been strong enough for almost everyone at the school to know that she had been involved in an explosion. She walked towards her bed and sat in it, it was soft and cosy, and she couldn’t feel the sprinkled of the mattress popping out, trying to stab her in the back. She was happy that she didn’t have to continue to sleep in the Hospital Wing, with those awful mattresses that hurt her back and only made everything worse. “Thanks Laurie.” She thanked her friend but there was something missing, she realized she couldn’t continue to worry Laurie like that. The secrets, dancing around the questions, she had to be honest if she really didn’t want Laurie to get into a dangerous situation. Max didn’t regret the situation she was in, far from it, but she chose it, she was the one that continued to move forward with it even knowing about the danger, unlike Laurie, who would most likely be nothing more than a bystander caught in the crossfire. Could Max really live with herself knowing that she got her friend in danger? “Hey, I’m sorry about everything, I didn’t mean to worry you.” She couldn’t forget that she would have to talk to Senan too. He was worried, she could see it in his eyes, how worried he was because her. Max couldn’t let them feel like that again, she wasn’t going to allow herself to be put in that situation once more. “How have things been during my absence? Created enough chaos?”
  3. Invite A Spencer after my own rusty heart

Teaching, could there possibly be a worse fate, Rhys sighed, that wasn't true, there were definitely worse fates. At least the day had been eventful, even if in front of some of the staff he had to pretend to be disappointed and unapproving of student pranks, the truth of the matter was the complete opposite. In fact if he was able to find a way to involve himself in a good prank without his superiors finding out, he was always eager. Which worked out even better if it helped tip a bet he had with Andrea in his favour. Rhys had over an hour free before his next class, he probably should have spent the time grading papers, but he decided instead to spike his tea with fire whisky and kick back for a nap. He kicked back in his chair, put his feet up on his desk and for a few moments just closed his eyes, but then he got a bit of an itchy feeling in the back of his head, one he felt like he couldn't ignore. He muttered a few colourful curse words under his breath, sat back up and pulled the cigarette from behind his ear. It wasn't lit, he never smoked in the classroom, but he always had one on him just the same. He pulled his tarot cards from inside his desk and laid out a cross pattern, humming some muggle indie song under his breath as he did, ignoring everything else around him, including the time.
  4. Invite Cornered

    Maxine Williams
The protection charm didn’t work very well, or at least she thought it hadn’t, she had asked Laurie to bring it to her, she needed to test it. Ever since Max had broken into the office to check the records, she finally discovered Senan’s birthday, she wasn’t sure if it would be the first one, but it didn’t make sense to lie about it, did it? She wasn’t too sure of her abilities, her magic was weak and highly uncooperative half the time, but the spell seemed easy enough, and with the training she thought it was a good idea to try. She continued to wonder about the events that happened a couple of days ago, the spell went well, except when a random burst of energy threw Max across the room and destroyed half of it, after that, the young redhead had no idea what happened, only waking up in the Hospital Wing a few hours later. She used the charm on herself and stole a wheelchair from the nurses office, she was blending in into the scenery, as long as she didn’t talk to people they saw her, but they didn’t notice her, it was like she was as relevant as a chair, it was perfect. The spell was working with most of the staff members, and as soon as she took the charm off of her and wrapped it into a piece of cloth, the nurses started immediately to yell at her, sending her off to her bed. Max was taken to her bed once more to rest. Laying on the bed, she kept calling the nurses, either she was thirsty, either she was hungry, or cold and even one time asked for a book and then declined it that it wasn’t the one she wanted. She wasn’t just tormenting the nurses, she was driving them crazy and the worst was that she was doing on purpose, mostly because she had nothing else to do around the hospital wing. Hours later, Max calmed down, she laid on the bed, reading some random book that the nurses had given her. It wasn’t a bad book, a crime novel, not enough fantasy and adventure for her taste but it would have to do for the time being. Before she could call the nurse again, for some ridiculous question, she noticed the Counsellor entering the Hospital Wing, she quickly lowered her head and tried to use the charm. “Shit, shit, shit.” She thought as she was suddenly the one under the magnifying glass, she could feel the eyes on her, she felt cornered, there was no escape that interaction. When someone called her name, she tried to avoid it, but eventually the angry voice of the nurse made Max raise her hand. “I’m here, is someone there for me?” Obviously, the woman was there for her, why the fuck would she be there? Certainly, wasn’t to play cards with the nurses.
  5. Golden dust melody

    Maxine Williams
Life had been so complicated that Max was having a hard time practicing her instrument. The soothing sound of the violin wasn’t heard in a weeks, maybe a month or more, and the quietness was making Max uneasy, she had to keep practicing or else thoughts of what she was going to do in the future would flood her mind, poking at her that she needed to find work, even if it was part-time, she couldn’t and wouldn’t be a burden to anyone, especially Senan. The boy had a lot in his mind, and she couldn’t do anything about it, she was powerless and whatever she tried to do ended back firing at her, she almost lost an eyebrow once. She walked into the musiciary, with her violin ready for some alone practice. The room was empty as she expected, only her, the violin and the melody that would leave the strings echoing in room would fill the room. Max began playing a few random notes, no specific known music, just a mix of notes from her own head, which didn’t sound too well on the first try, maybe altering the order, would make a more soft melody, and maybe she should do something different with the music, use a bit of magic to add something spectacular to it as well. Max started to play again, this time the notes that left the violin matched together and left in a string of golden dust, twirling around at the sound of the music Max was playing, along with a few small, yet energetic dance movements, making the golden string twirl around the redhead instead of random furniture and instruments in the classroom. Anyone that would enter the classroom in that moment could see the circus. The golden dust twirling, following the sound of a soft melody coming from the violin being played by the redhead.

  7. Distance Makes No Difference

Two weeks to the day. Laurie had been worried about Max since July 1st, when the younger of the two made a passing comment on QuillBook about being an exchange student: it meant that she would be leaving Australia in a few months, inevitably leaving Max and everybody else behind. The redhead didn't seem to take too kindly to the notion. Even someone as carefree as Laurie noticed there had been a subtle change in behavior when it came to her local best friend. She had grown quieter through the two weeks, and had displayed an unprecedented amount of indifference regarding her quips; not to mention the constant dodging whenever Laurie tried to bring that change up. No more. That day had been the tipping point for Laurie. During their Boggarts lesson, the temporary Spencer had gotten a glimpse of what truly plagued Max: abandonment. It was her worst fear, and Laurie was the living embodiment of it in a way. Not only that, Max's reaction spoke volumes louder than anything else. Laurie had seen the unbridled fury in the seventh year's gaze, and it was time to do something about it. "Hey, Max?" She tried to catch the girl's attention as they walked into their shared bedroom, having tactfully ditched Lexi to put her 'plan' into action - she didn't have an actual plan, she was very much improvising, but at least she was doing something. Though, perhaps because she didn't have any plan made it so she acted rather than speak her mind: not waiting too long for a verbal response, she reached for the redhead's wrist and pulled her in for a proper embrace, void of second intentions.
  8. Up The Wall

    Samantha Hammond
"This is your kind of thing, right? The disciple becomes the master." The trio had agreed upon scheduling their little adventure up the Narrie Lakes' wall for a lazy Sunday afternoon, the one day of the week a certain bakery closed and allowed for a day off. It was hot enough that they weren't shivering with the cold of Winter, though they still had to wear a nice coat to warm up properly. The pair waited near the main event of "Just Do It June" for Samantha's friend, Max, whom had been the one requesting company for the climb in the first place. "Can't say I dislike the sound of that." Samantha giggled at her baking mentor. Eyes scanned up the wall as she analyzed it - it was likely something she could climb with no support, and even if she were to trip, her non-human physiology would make it easier to catch herself prior to hitting the ground. Even if she did, she'd likely be able to withstand a much greater height than a run of the mill human - she just hoped that there were no Muggles around to witness such a thing if it were to happen. "Is your friend going to take too long?" Natasha idly asked as her gaze perused the surrounding activities. They were truly all about getting active - it was fortunate that she had gotten into shape (somewhat) over the course of the past year through Judo, but that didn't change the fact she wasn't agile like a monkey. It was likely that the task would not be too easy, something that served as a bit of a downer; on the flip side, the company would likely keep her mind occupied enough for her not to notice the difficulty. "No, she should show up any minute now. I'll show you how to secure yourself to the wall in a bit." Samantha had picked up on how unsure the older woman seemed about the activity and gave her a wide smile. Natasha wrinkled her nose and stared up the obstacle as well. 'Why did I agree to this...?'
  9. The cliffs unjumped, cold waters untouched

    Maxine Williams
There was nothing new to that day, it was Max’s birthday but as usual she didn’t celebrate it, but it was nice to have received a letter from her eldest sister, but it was no surprise that no one else had sent her anything, regardless she was pleased that her sister had remembered her, every year the young woman likes to send Max a postcard and a present before Max travels back home. This year Max was going to stay in Tally, she wasn’t going to bother getting on a train to visit her family for three days only to be treated like she didn’t belong. She stared at the postcard for a while with a smile on lips, there wasn’t much to be happy about, but receiving that letter had made her happy. Throughout the course of the day, things had been easy, Max had spent some time with Laurie, where Max received a box full of unicorn balls. It felt nice having someone during that day, even if Max believed it was just like any other day it was nice to spend it with a friend doing various things, something she rarely had the chance to do during that time, either because she never bothered to say it to anyone or simply because she was pressured to go home to celebrate it with ‘family’. Max was slightly excited for the end of the day, to spend some alone time with Senan, which was probably something she had been expecting, maybe they could watch a movie or something, they didn’t have to do anything, but spending some portion of the day with Laurie and the rest of it with Senan seemed liked the best birthday she could have asked for. She stood in front of the house with her backpack and a duffle bag, she looked at it from top to bottom with a smile on her face, every time she thought about what happened the smile grew, she couldn’t help how she felt like a strong magnetic force was pulling her towards him. She took a key from her pocket to open the door to the house, once the door was open, she walked inside and locked it again. “Senan?” she put the bag down and keys went back into her pocket. She paid little attention to her surroundings and walked to the living room, placing the paint can on the ground. Maybe Senan wasn’t around. She sat on the couch and looked at the blank wall, she took a sketchpad from her backpack and began drawing the sketch of the image she thought it would look good on the wall, depending on the color they both chose she was sure she could pull something interesting.

  11. Invite Heart's Bore in this War part II

    Maxine Williams
Continuing from Heart's Bore in this War She shook her head, he shouldn’t apologize for it, even if she was fine, she was grateful that he was taking the time to see if she had been injured in any other way, it was sweet, the side of him she got to see more often, and she enjoyed it. Max had to admit that if she was in his position, she would have done the same thing, trying to be sure that no one was injured, with so many things destroyed that night something could have hit them. She looked at him, still worried about what had happened to him, she had to talk to him once they leave that awful place. “I’m not going to let you sleep on the floor.” she spoke staring at him, her voice was firm. She wasn’t going to let him give up his own comfort because of her, they could share it. It wasn’t going to be uncomfortable sharing a bed with someone, especially not him considering they had already fallen asleep together watching the movie. This time shouldn’t be too different, the only difference now was that they were both aware of how they felt, perhaps it would be a little awkward at first. “You deserve it more than I do. You look alright but…” She walked alongside him to exit the warehouse as he explained where the house was; the location was one of the best locations in Narrie and where the wealthy lived. She nodded as he mentioned his father. It was probably a wise choice considering it’s easier to move around when one has money, but now there was a problem they probably hadn’t anticipated. “But won’t people be suspicious of how those two aren’t around anymore?” if anyone in the neighborhood had seen them, it meant that Senan would have to come up with a plan to explain what he’s doing in that house. Soon they should be able to relax and by tomorrow Max was sure everything would be alright, but she probably wasn’t going to classes that day. He wasn’t wrong, Australia was a dangerous country. “We Australians do like to live dangerously, haven’t you heard? Freefall awaits the brave.” She looked at him with a cheeky smile before winking. Before she could do or say anything else, they found themselves in the Astley Walk. The couldn’t wait to get her apparition license to stop using these things, she should be used to them, but she still felt dizzy whenever they arrived at the destined location, almost losing her balance.
  12. Invite Heart's Bore in this War

    Senan Connell
'This is it. ..' Senan thought to himself. Most of the break had been contributed towards designing different kinds of items, potions, and as many failsafe uses for other environmental things in the area but they couldn't be too sure any of it would work. It would certain catch their intended enemies off guard, If only for a moment. It'd been rare for Wizard's to fight in the fashion that both he and Maxine planned to. However, he had faith that it'd been far more of an edge even with the limited amount that they were able to produce. There could be no careless mistakes, this needed to be far more calculating than either of them had been before in their lives and they needed to take any chance and opening that had been opened to them. It was life or death, it was war. His fingers curled around the eight and a half inch Yew wand that had bonded with him through various trials of his life since his first time holding it. The two of them couldn't expect any form of assistance from anyone, that hadn't been the plan, at least not for him. As he learned more about Max, began to legitimately fall for her, there came to be the realization that he would broke no threat to survive that could harm her. Every necessity would be taken on his part to ensure that those that pose a threat to her existence would find their own only a hair away from being tossed off the edge and into the abyss of death. A scary thought, that he could hold such a protective nature for anyone but there in he found that purpose. The Warehouse had been quite large, enough for them to maneuver around many of the decrypt machines, various boxes and materials that had been left behind with a few of them already obviously scavenged by those that found the place far before they did. The ceiling hung high with various chains that drooped low, indicating much larger machine that once were bound by them, the ceiling had been fractured with obvious wear and tear where it looked as if the slightest bit of force could cause it to tumble down. Something that could be used to their advantage or against them, awareness of their battlefield had been a prudent thing and may have spelled the difference between victory and defeat. Entering the building his eyes cased the area in caution, making sure there hadn't been any surprises that awaited them. That their place of an ambush hadn't been peaked out, it didn't take much for him to spread the news in the underworld that Max had not only been the girlfriend that changed him from the grasp of his Father, but also that a lie had already been placed out that she'd meet Senan alone at the warehouse for some 'Secrecy' that the school couldn't give. Which meant that they didn't have much more time, they were probably going to end up arriving at any moment and they needed to get into place. Using her as bait, that still didn't sit well with him but they'd gotten this far and there'd been no better plan. He handed her the glasses that had been charmed to resist extremely blinding glares and wrapped around her torso, a potion-bandolier. This held a various types of potions that they'd made together and some that he actually spent the previous night until the morning crafting to making sure she held a utility of things that could be used given the situation of underaged magic. A hand reached out as he touched her cheek gently, the edge of his finger stroking in an affectionate motion. "Don't get nervous, okay? I won't be far." Though usually he'd take the time to try and stare into her eyes that wouldn't be happening, not now. The usual demeanor that he wore around her had melted away, there'd been no softness on his features but rather the mask of someone whom had a mission. His hand gently fell away from her and his silver eyes shifted towards the entryway of the building and then he started to move away from her, at first backing away and then fully turning where he started to try the highest altitude that he could get to perch upon and watch from above, wand grasped tightly and ready for the proper cue.
  13. Complete Roller Coaster Ride

It had been an interesting few days, Max had been trying some new spells she had learned, her room might not have been the best place to practice such spells, but she had managed to keep everything intact, except maybe for a pile of dirty clothes she had sorted to do laundry, a pile of clothes that were caught on fire but that Max was able to extinguish before it got any bigger. Her roommate seemed to be inside the trunk, it was perfect. Max got dressed quickly, she didn’t want her roommate to start asking too many questions, but she couldn’t also leave without saying anything. Max picked whatever she needed plus her violin. “I’m going to practice.” She dashed out the door before anyone could say anything. Did she need the violin? No, but she also didn’t want her roommate to come up and see the violin case, that would only make her taunt Max some more. The redhead found refuge someplace around the school, so she used the ring to be able to sneak into the Sturt’s dormitories. She smiled as she touched the ring on her finger, remembering the night Senan had given it to her, and the stupid joke she had made. She sighed in disappointment with herself, but she couldn’t stop feeling happy that she had it, perhaps even a little bit nervous about it. She smiled as she walked to her destination. Upon arrival she was able to sneak in when someone got inside, she was invisible not a ghost. She tried to follow the instructions and hopefully she wouldn’t get into the wrong room. She had found the room she wanted, now she just had to go in. Should she knock? Should she just go inside? What if he was inside and wasn’t decent? A faint red color invaded her cheeks, and once more she was disappointed at herself for even thinking something like that. She decided to knock. “Senan?” she spoke, only loud enough for him to hear as she knocked on the door. “It’s me…I’m going in.” she waited a while before opening the door and going inside closing the door behind her. The effect of the ring disappeared, and Max waved at the boy as she tried to make as little noise as possible. “Hey. I brought everything and my roommate won’t even suspect I told her I was going to practice.” She said showing the violin case while giving him a big bright smile. She put it on the ground, took off her footwear, putting it next to the violin case and took a few glasses out of a bag, along with the sunglasses she had previously mentioned. “I think these will do, it’s not as obvious as sunglasses.” She spoke as she approached him. “How are you?” she stared at him, still smiling, hopefully, she won't say anything stupid.
  14. Complete Sketches & doodles

Max could already sense the holidays just around the corner, they were already in late-March and it wasn’t that long before she could finally relax from the stress of classes, at least not during the holidays and she could enjoy the weather before winter decides to ruin most of her plans to walk around outside and do some exercise. Before the weather became more unstable Max thought it would be a good idea to hang in the Centre Courtyard, doing what, she wasn’t sure but it would be good to catch some fresh air after classes, perhaps even take her violin to practice, or perhaps her old sketchbook, it had been a while since the last time she made a fun doodle about classes and everyday events that life throws at people when they least expect. Upon arriving to the Centre Courtyard, she saw how other gathered there, it wasn’t such a good idea to just sit under a tree and do whatever she wanted, but after a few minutes of standing there like a fool most students left to go to class. She smiled as everyone left the scene, she could be in peace and quite doing whatever she wanted without having people staring at her. Some students seemed to be curious about the violin as they left, it didn’t bother her, they weren’t going to stay there and listen to her anyway. She made her way through the tables and sat in her favorite spot, on the grass under a tree. First thing she did was take out a sketch pad from her backpack to make a few doodles, simple things, not much technique was needed to make a small comic with an amusing everyday life event, the simple act of skateboarding and ending up taking a dive in a fountain was always funny and cute to draw. She looked at her violin, she was planning on practice a little, deciding against it shortly after sitting down under the tree.
  15. Invite What Hides in the Shadows Part 2

    Senan Connell
( Part 1: What Hides in the Shadows ) The two teens had arrived at the School, Senan had to admit that the use of the Bush Telegraph to get most of the way there had been disorienting and mostly because of the experience they'd just held. Battle had always been a weary ordeal and the adrenaline of it had started to recede from him a lot later. It'd been a stealth operation, get in and get out, luckily he'd already preplanned for the necessity to get back onto the school ground as he reached into his pocket and removed what seemed to be a silver ring that he slipped onto a finger to the hand that still had Maxine's held. This sparked an enchantment on the object which started to cast an illusory effect around the both of them by use of Fae crafters, they would be unseen for only a limited time which meant they needed to move to their destination quickly. He estimated that they had enough time, but he preferred not to take the chance and kept the original pace of speed up as he lead the way towards the West Wall and then traversed closely along it towards the F3 building. While approaching the structure his pace finally slowed down and shifted to gentle steps then approached the siding of it, a brief lean and gaze through the window to check if there had been any others inside making use of it for their 'Recreational' activities. It seemed they were in the clear on that front but it also seemed that some couple had made use of it not long ago with the way certain desks were adjusted and articles of clothing that had been left behind. A soft sigh escaped his lips, they were going to have to stand to avoid touching anything that might gross them out. Moving towards the door of the building he pressed his hand against the handle of it and turned it to push it open then passed through lightly guiding Max inside with him and then shutting the door tightly. As he released her hand the illusions that had been stitched around her would fall away and then he'd remove the ring allowing for the same to occur and pocketed the jewelry. "Artefacts, Always a good thing to have even though many Wizard's don't carry them around." Granted they didn't actually need to unless there'd been a legitimate reason other than research and testing. Senan reached to his side and removed his wand and gave a gentle wave of it several times as he started to press a spell on the door to make it heavy to avoid someone suddenly barging in and the walls to reduce the chance of sound by passing them. Things needed to be kept secret and it had already been bad that he had to break it in order to appraise Maxine of the situation she rolled herself into. The windows he simply just pulled the dusty curtains over them, if anyone from the outside didn't see movement they may not think twice about it unless they've constantly looked towards the building each patrol with detail. "There, we should have some privacy at least for a bit longer."
  16. Invite Hell's Whisper

"Oh, damn. They weren't bullshitting me." 'Snowflake' was the password to her dorm room? Under that weather, somebody had quite the twisted sense of humor. It brought an amused smile to Laurie's lips once she was done chuckling about it, and sure enough, a small click reached her ears - the door had been unlocked. The short stack had just gotten to the school and things were already looking up - at least people knew how to pull jokes. In Durmstrang they had their broomsticks shoved so far up their asses she was sure she could see the end of them struggle in the inside of people's throats. Reaching for the doorknob, she twisted it and pushed the door open. As the room was slowly revealed to her eyes, she could clearly see two things: one, her roommate was in there; two, the fact that the room was unbelievably messy, and what looked like Laurie's bed-to-be was presently completely unusable from the sheer amount of crap on top of it. "...Uh." Awkward. "Wrong room?" She tried, even if she knew that wasn't the case. Was this girl not warned Laurie was meant to arrive that day?
  17. Invite What Hides in the Shadows

    Senan Connell
Koonyah, while it'd been a residential district it hadn't been one with a good reputation and especially when the eve of night occurred, where the legitimate 'Freaks' come out. Those that had ill intent within their actions and that had just been on a casual night with the various break-in's that perhaps occurred more often than they should've. The extremely uncommon side for the lack of safety had been, unfortunately, directly connected to Senan and the couple that he walked with in what seemed to be an extremely decrepit house, it'd been clear that no one stayed within the residence for that time and that those who owned the property didn't care to truly fix it up. Graffiti littered the wall of it with various callsigns from their 'artists'. On the edge of the building, hidden with woven magic, had been a mark that acted as a signal. While it hadn't been one that would be counted as familiar to Australian Wizard's and Witches the design of it had quite the foreboding look. The first ones to showcase this sign had been two individuals, both cloaked from head to do in black clothing and hood, a slight gleam of a mask shined on the surface of their faces which hide their true identities. Grasped, one in each hand, had been the arm of a third individual that had been pushed inside roughly, a clear sign of some form of prisoner or someone being brought against their will at the very least. The third person wore several bruises that shown on their shoulders, arms, and exposed legs whenever the broken streetlamp nearby would flutter to actually cast its dimmed glare onto the street nearby the building. As the sign gleamed for a bit longer it eventually died down and had been hidden away from the normal sight of others, that had been the signal that Senan was waiting for to receive. Unlike the others he hadn't wore a mask, in fact, he waited just a bit more in case any members of the Auror Force showed. When it seemed that it wouldn't be the case he made his more, darting across the street as quick as he could and only pulling a hood up at the last moment when he reached the broken fence that surrounded the building. If someone had chosen to look through the window or through the door they'd find that there'd barely been any gleam of a light, except one focused on an individual who had obviously not been apart of the trio cloaked in black garments. The man had been scruffy and badly beaten, blood dripped from several wounds that had the signs of slashings from some form of bladed weapon and even one wound by the shoulder showed signs of being wounded by some source of concentrated fire. Hands had been bound behind his back with tight rope that had been hexed to keep his arms feeling numb and weak, avoiding any potential chance that he'd hold the strength to untie himself or break out from flimsy designed nylon. This had been an everyday thing in Senan's eyes, he'd been expected to see and witness, to take part in such cruelties which he had often tried to limit himself to as much as possible. Typically, one of the Fae resistance members would manage to get to their hideouts 'on-time' to save the victims but he found that the chances of it in a land where they hadn't been concentrated grew extremely slim. He needed to find a way out of this on his own occurred and he'd been without any form of options or insight on how he could manage it and actually get away clear and easy. Though he held his wand tightly within his grip the various scenarios that played within his mind all ended up in some unintended way and would nullify all of the hard work he'd done to place himself in the positions that he now held, even if it had been held in disdain. 'Just because he's a Half-Blood. . . I had nearly forgotten the kind of crusades these Pureblood's take upon themselves. Now I must act as if I am them when I know all too well the truth of that. . . And mother. . .' The woman could intervene, she could've done something far better than himself and yet she chose to stand far away and watch as if it'd been a movie that didn't include her hand in its design.
  18. Invite Sweet revenge

After that valentine’s day prank Max was going to finally get her revenge on Keaton. She hoped that he had read the note she had left him in his room; She had told him she would meet him at the quidditch pitch after his practice so that they could study. She had previously prepared the area and enchanted an object, a rather cute keychain with the K letter along with a broom, he wouldn’t suspect a thing, or at least that what she expected. Was Max annoyed that he had pranked her? She had been, now she just finds it hilarious and amusing. Was she going to let him get away with it? No, she wasn't, she now had a valid excuse to prank him back The prank was juvenile and easy, as soon as he stepped out away from Max his keychain would release a power that once in contact with his skin would turn his skin green for a couple of days before wearing off. She wasn’t even sure if Keaton was going to fall for it, she just hoped he would accept the keychain in name of their friendship, he could still use it after the enchantment wears off. She sat in the seats, her hair was still green, she didn’t bother to hide it, she was actually enjoying the new hair color, but that didn’t mean she would let him get away for turning her hair that color. She cheered the team as they practiced until the practice was finally over, which was when she finally spotted Keaton. “Hey hey K-man!” she said waving at him.
