Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

    • PB is negotiable. Maiden name is Lin;
    • She is Jamie Collins' and Alex Lin's mother, and very close to them. She's very close to her nephew as well;
    • Brother's wife is her best friend;
    • Very artsy;
    • Quite the flamboyant spells;
    • Prefers field work to desk work by far, but has made the sacrifice for the sake of her children;
    • Anything else is up to you.

    Tabitha and her brother were orphaned at a young age. They were fortunate enough to be adopted by a well established Chinese immigrant family in Narragyambie - they provided the pair with a happy, uneventful childhood. Tabitha had the opportunity to pursue what she wanted, which was to be in the field of action - she took on training to become a Hit Wizard as soon as she could in VMU. It was during that time that she happened to meet a muggle by chance that she'd end up dropping everything for (except her education, of course) and marry as soon as she possibly could.

    Perhaps it was the couple's luck (or nightmare) that they had twins. This made Tabitha double down on the work she had to perform as a Hit Wizard; fortunately, roughly around the same time, Zachary was starting to get steadier cartooning gigs. Things were looking up for their future. As the kids grew up, only Jamie started to display aptitude for magic. This made it so Tabitha took him under his wing and taught him the little she could prior to a formal education to the expense of Alex, whom connected more with her father instead. It all came crashing down when the kids were around eight years old - after leaving for some extended job, Zachary sent Tabitha a note not to search for him. The heartbreak was such that she never even pursued a divorce, and love so deep she actually complied, not having heard from him since.

    It didn't take too long before she took a hit financially - as it turns out, raising two kids and funding a household all by yourself was quite expensive. She eventually sent Jamie to live with her brother's family during his first couple years in Tallygarunga. Left alone with Alex, she had no idea how to approach the girl who just lost her world (as well), and things only seemed to get worse on a day by day basis. Eventually, succumbing to the economic pressure, Tabitha left the job she adored to apply for a more cushy job in the Ministry of Magic. Added with that, she left her home and returned to the very much free Lin household, that was just in front of her brother's and best friend's home. She had Jamie enroll in the actual Tallygarunga dormitories from the third year and onwards to reduce expenses.

    It was then she got to more closely re-approach her brother's family, and assume the proper role of aunt to Cole. It seemed that the cataclysmic event she had endured served to bring the family that much closer. The years went by, their children graduated and are moving on up in the world. But perhaps they all need some guidance still...

    • How has she dealt with the fact her husband left her so many years ago and how does it show in her current life?
    • Is she worried about her son's increasingly annoying and marketed 'bad boy ladies man' public image for the sake of making bank?
    • Even if she's mellowed out, her daughter's still somewhat problematic and worry inducing...
