Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

Sebastian was the second child of his family, after his older brother, Neil. He also has a younger sister, Natasha, three years younger than him. He was born into a somewhat problematic household, as his parents argued constantly; when he was 9 years old, they underwent a very, very nasty divorce. As himself and Neil were squibs, they stayed with their father; Natasha was removed from the household by their witch mother since she had already been displaying minor magical talents. From that point on, the two sides of the family never contacted each other in any way, shape or form for a very long time.

Sebastian is a very popular young man, having won the genetic lottery and possessing quite the brain. Add to that his athletic prowess in Judo, and the man had always been a contender for one of the more popular kids in any school he's graced his presence with. Despite this, however, he's always felt like he was in Neil's shadow - not that he actually resented his brother or anything, but because he felt like no matter what he did, he could never surpass him. No matter what he did, he wouldn't be noticed nearly as much as him. This led to his hardworking and more conservative persona, wanting to stick to his studies rather than seeking attention and validation from others, and being an all around more serious person.

He went to the same Muggle schools as Alex Lin, another squib. At first she was quite the firecracker whom seemingly got in trouble for every reason in the book. However, as she slowly mellowed out, he couldn't help but grow very fond of her, and they became close friends to this day. In the later years of high school he actually fell in love with her, but he was far too proud to confess to a girl whom clearly didn't seem the least bit interested in that sort of thing, sticking to watching her from afar instead.

As high school grew to a close, the unthinkable happened: there was a bit of a freak accident during one of his brother's Judo lessons, and he was seriously injured in his head. He later passed away in the hospital that same day. That marked the first of a quick succession of events that turned his life completely upside down - not only did he have to deal with his brother's death, but the one he believed to be the love of his life left the town to Melbourne for college. He also felt obligated to step into Neil's shoes and fill the void left in the Dojo by becoming the new instructor and wholly dedicating himself to it, meaning he wouldn't be pursuing higher education like he wanted to. Finally, and even least expected, his mother's family moved back into town, and consequently his sister. While they were forbidden to reach out to him and his father, he heard through the grapevine he now had a step-sister and they were both enrolling in Tallygarunga.

It's been four years since his life took a completely wrong turn. He now needs to decide what to do with it and what to improve it, lest he remain in that perpetual limbo and live in his dead brother's shadow still.

    • It's been a whole year since his sister's been taking on Judo, alternating between his classes and their father's. She's actively trying to approach the two, even if she isn't sure how due to being absent all her life. Maybe it's about time she gets a chance.
    • Chloe Stewart, daughter of his boss, has also been taking on Judo for around the same period of time. Through how she moves and how knowledgeable she is of combat sports in general, he can clearly see the immense potential she'd have in competition. Perhaps he should try (and fail miserably) to get her to take the sport more seriously.
    • On occasion, his old flame comes about Narragyambie to visit her mother. Maybe he should run into her.
    • Will he resign to his sense of responsibility or break free and pursue the studies he craves?
    • How has he dealt with his brother's death?
