Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

    • PB is negotiable;
    • He is Natasha Roberts' step-father. He married her mother when she was enrolled in Penrose. His own daughter was also there, and she's the same age;
    • Divorced, had one child, remarried;
    • A pureblood, and he is the Chief Auror of Narragyambie. He was assigned to this position four years ago and had to relocate for it;
    • He is strict with his children, but perhaps not as strict as his wife is - he does allow for the bullying to happen though;
    • Afraid of bugs;
    • Allergic to pollen;
    • Runner;
    • Anything else is up to you.

    Nolan originates from Violet Town, VA. He comes from money, but enjoys working anyway - so much so he's had a very successful and lengthy career as an Auror, and has made it to nearly the top of the food chain - as much as he could go while still being able to occasionally pursue field work, anyway. He is, perhaps a bit too dedicated to his career, as his relationship with his daughter(s) greatly suffered. He allows his wife to bully both his own kin and his step-daughter to be bullied, believing it is to 'put them in line'. One could say he's not bad to both girls in person, but the fact he lets the treatment go on makes him no better in their eyes.

    He initially married his high school sweetheart (himself having gone to Greyheme, and her to Penrose), having Angelina eventually; however, the relationship soon became a rocky one and the two had quite the breakup before the girl was even 10 years of age. After a lengthy court battle, Nolan retained custody of the little girl. He proceeded to enroll her in Penrose as soon as she was of age; it was through it that he happened to meet his current wife, and they tied the knot not too long after.

    He briefly relocated to Melbourne, along with his job, to stay with his wife without the mess that would be Apparating constantly to work. Eventually he was relocated to Narragyambie's station, at which point they all moved as well. Not wanting their daughters to be too far, the pair decided to pull them from Penrose and enrolled them in Tallygarunga during their fifth year. Of course, this also meant coming across his wife's ex-husband, as this was her hometown and he still resided in it.

    Four years into things, his life seems to get more and more complicated from all angles - there's someone potentially threatening his rather safe and cushy job, his wife is starting anew in terms of career, his own child is becoming more rebellious by the second and his step-daughter dropped everything and left without so much of a safety net to keep her afloat; and that's not even accounting for his wife's ex-husband and older son being around town. There's lots of damage control to be had...

    • His step-daughter needs to be put in her place. Insubordination, not pursuing an education, leaving the house on her own and that stupid nose piercing?! Unacceptable. What is he going to do about it?
    • That rising star Auror right under his nose, Evelyn McCarthy-Parsons, is well on her way to threaten his stable position as the Chief Auror in her young age. Perhaps he should make her life difficult when it comes to climbing that career ladder...
