    • The only name I'm willing to switch is the middle one, as there's an in character reason for Keira to name this boyo Michael. If you can guess what it is, I'll marry you;
    • Keira Hammond's first-born child and Samantha Hammond's beloved nephew. His parents divorced two to three years ago. He's been living with his grandparents since then, and then went to Whitlam Bilby as soon as he awakened to his magic powers;
    • 1/4 Veela, as his mother is half Veela - this means he has a natural gravitas to him, especially around most girls (and few boys), and is in the process of mastering his innate abilities;
    • Often visited by family members - most of all Samantha and Amber, who study in Tally;
    • Allergic to dust;
    • Undiagnosed ADHD - his grades are quite poor as a consequence, and he has a hard time staying afloat;
    • Not very fond of outdoor activities;
    • Sleight of hand;
    • Adept at a variety of card games (traditional and TCG's);
    • Musically talented - he's a good singer and seems to have a natural affinity towards instruments (as for which, it's player's choice);
    • Through his grandmother he's related to the Townsend family and to the McCarthy-Parsons family (albeit that second connection is a secret to the general public);
    • Have an over-complicated family tree;
    • PB may be changed;
    • Anything not specified is up to you.

    Michael is a bit rough around the edges, especially for a child - having watched his parents divorce for seemingly no reason and having to endure the ensuing repeated change of custody, the boy has grown a bit jaded towards his family and has an inner insecurity that his family doesn't like him. His father decided to grant the custody to his mother initially due to his fears of not being a very present father in the future (which, ironically enough, he is). Moving to his grandparents' house, his mother initially cared for him before the work bug bit her again; she and his oldest aunt moved out, leaving him alone with the oldest Hammonds of that branch and his uncle. Shortly thereafter, he was sent to board Whitlam Bilby instead, where he has remained since (except during breaks, which he spends either at the McCarthy-Parsons household or back with his grandparents).

    He took after his mother in terms of not having much of a filter and being too blunt and stubborn for his own good, which has landed him in hot water in school before. While most of his family is against this sort of behavior, Keira seemingly encourages it as she values people who speaks their mind and call out things as they see them. Despite this he remains rather popular due to his heritage, as the passive Veela charms are forever present (albeit not nearly as strong as most of his family). Being someone who values substance over flash, he resents the attention he gets and frequently tries to dodge it, much like his aunt Samantha. However, unlike her, he shows irritation upon being approached rather than letting others down easy.

    His family has always taught him that he could not reveal that he was a Veela to anyone, for the sake of the family's safety - with the rampant discrimination and lynchings (some of which have struck his extended family, no less), it was the only option they had, and that included not publicly recognizing that they are linked to Evelyn McCarthy-Parsons, as she is out as a half-Veela. Michael took this a step further, adopting a borderline racist persona to the general public against halfbreeds of any sort - if he visually came across as hating them, then the suspicion would be lowered pertaining his particular case. His family doesn't particularly approve of this, and it clashes deeply with his cousin Amber in particular, whose parents perished in a lynching for defending halfbreed rights. Things are starting to take a turn for the worse, however - resenting the fact he has to keep such a core part of himself hidden, the fake hatred towards any non-human individual is starting to slowly morph into being reality.

    Despite his general attitude, Veela charms notwithstanding, he has a natural charismatic aura to him which in turn ensure he always has a handful of friends at his disposal - to those whom actually give him the right kind of attention that he perceives himself as lacking from his family, he turns out to be very protective of them and treats them like his own 'chosen family' (which happens to include his blood brother). He is also very strong willed and doesn't know the meaning of the word 'quit', and for all his faults he has turned out to be quite the courageous and daring young man with unmatched willpower.

    • He needs to get his attention disorder addressed. His youngest aunt suffers from the same issue, although the family seems mostly oblivious to it as well. As such, if he has the presence of mind to help himself, he might consequently be able to help Samantha.

    • It's funny how alike to his mother he turned out to be despite her being mostly absent. It could be that he resents her for ditching her kin; or, maybe, he desperately wants the attention of the woman he greatly looks up to, going out of his way often to try and attain it.

    • He's starting to suspect that his aunt Samantha knows far more about music, both vocals and instrumentalism, than she lets on based on her occasional performance for the kids at Whitlam Bilby. Given his own deep interest in Musiciary, he needs to find some sort of way to persuade her to teach him.

    • He clashes with the clown of the family, Amber, far too often due to his intentionally racist persona - sometimes she isn't able to see through its fake nature and lets it rile her up, resulting in explosive arguments. She's quite the proud believer in halfbreed rights and militant about it, moreso after the assassination of her parents due to standing by it as well. He needs to find a way to make it more obvious to someone so dense that he doesn't mean it... Or perhaps he's starting to mean it, and the dislike for her is genuinely growing proportionately.

    • Isn't it great when you actually know a musician you're a fan of personally? Even better when they're actually your family member! Michael needs to ask Gemini for some guitar lessons.

    • His growing prejudice has the chance to fester, or perhaps it could be he is eventually able to see past it.
