Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

    • PB is negotiable;
    • Keira Hammond's second child and Samantha Hammond's nephew. His parents divorced two to three years ago. He's been living wiht his grandparents since then, and then went to Whitlam Bilby as soon as he awakened to his magic powers;
    • 1/4 Veela, as his mother is half Veela - this means he has a natural gravitas to him, especially around most girls (and a few boys), and is in the process of mastering his innate abilities;
    • Often visited by family members - most of all Samantha and Amber, who study in Tally;
    • Through his grandmother he's related to the Townsend family and to the McCarthy-Parsons family (albeit that second connection is a secret to the general public);
    • Have an over-complicated family tree;
    • Prefers Narragyambie to Melbourne, not liking the city very much;
    • Average grades with good potential for more;
    • Very dedicated to outdoor activities and all sorts of sports, and wants to add to his family's legacy in Quidditch one day;
    • Interested in combat sports and is likely enrolled in one;
    • Starting to grow into a bit of a romantic bloke, directly influenced by his youngest aunt;
    • His status as a Veela is secret, and he is unregistered;
    • Anything not specified is up to you.

    Alongside Michael, his older brother, Jason had to witness his parents divorce for no apparent reason at a very early age. As a consequence, he had to withstand repeatedly moving - from their house to moving in with Keira only, to moving back into his maternal grandparents' home alongside their mother, to having their mother move out while leaving them under their grandparents' care, to ultimately being moved to Whitlam Bilby's dormitories for the sake of an education: it's almost as if there's no place where the brothers truly belong. As such, he's learned to cling more to Michael than anybody else, and despite their stark differences, they're very close.

    As he was moved to Narragyambie, however, he found that he quite enjoyed the small town. That, coupled with his aunt and cousin's constant visits, give him a sense of peace he hadn't had ever since his parents divorced. Maybe the ones visiting him and the magic he's presently surrounding himself with serve as excellent distractions for the realities surrounding his upbringing, but could it be he's starting to resent his parents for all that's happened thus far?

    • He loves his brother very much, but the boy is going off the rails with the anti-halfbreed rhetoric. Can he speak some since into him, or alert someone of it? Or does he not mind it?

    • Given he's the sporty sort, he should hang out with Amber a lot!

    • How does he feel about his parents' divorce and how they've cared for him since? Does he believe one or both are very present, or that they ignore him and he seeks their attention? Or anything else.
