Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

Harper Luna, née Roberts, was born and raised in Narragyambie - although, she was never that great a fan of the small town. She learned early on in her academic career that she wanted to pursue teaching and thus enrolled in VMU to pursue her calling. It was around this time that she met Hala Patel, a foreign Muggle, and the two began dating.

Despite the many arguments that plagued the relationship, the two married and wound up having three children - Neil, Sebastian, and Natasha. The first two were Squibs, much to her dismay, taking after their father; Natasha, however, was her golden child. She was a witch, and one that displayed a wealth of talent to boot. Soon she became the target of Harper's expectations and teachings.

When the little girl was six years old, Harper and Hala had reached a breaking point in their marriage. After a messy divorce, she attained custody of Natasha and moved away to Melbourne, wanting to put the small town behind her. She didn't think twice about leaving Neil and Sebastian with their Muggle father due to them lacking the magical abilities to keep up with their mother and sister, and it was ultimately for the best that they had a Muggle role model; though, despite it being debatable that the choice was benign, it doesn't erase the fact Harper went out of her way not to ever reach out to them again and to keep Natasha from doing the same.

As the years passed, Harper enrolled Natasha in the same institution she was teaching in - Penrose. Around the same time, one of the parents of a girl she started teaching that same year got close to her, and Harper found herself involved with a man all over again; later marrying this man, an Auror named Nolan Luna, she became the little girl's step mother and soon she was subjected to the type of parenting Natasha already had to endure. Nolan wasn't as strict as Harper but let her run with it anyway.

Eventually her husband was told to lead the Auror station in Narragyambie. She told him he could merely Apparate to work, but he insisted that they should give back to the community - as such, they should move to the small town. Harper resisted the idea initially, but ended up complying. She also complied with the idea of having Natasha and Angelina board Tallygarunga instead, as well as teaching in the small town she loathed as well - she was going to make sure the marriage worked.

Just before they finalized their moving arrangements, Harper caught wind of her son, Neil, perishing in a work accident. Seemingly unaffected, she didn't bother reaching out and carried on with her life; but it could be that, perhaps, through the years, a sense of regret started welling up within her.

    • At her husband's request, they've moved back to Narragyambie a few years back. How does she avoid her ex-husband?
    • Her own daughter is trying to reconnect with her father. Loathing the man, Harper wants to stop that from happening: how does she accomplish that now that Natasha's moved out against her will?
    • She keeps tabs on Angelina as well, even if she's not her biological daughter - in her mind, she's supplanted the girl's mother, who's been trying to approach as well. At least that one has gone on to pursue an education, unlike Natasha. Is she pleased with her general performance?
    • She sees Tallygarunga as beneath her, yet her husband has convinced her to give back to the community she resides in. What else has she done other than change the institutions she teaches in and sending her child to it?
    • Harper's come across as stunningly not bothered by her oldest son's passing. After so many years, has it only been just a front or does she genuinely doesn't care? Has she remained cold towards that side of the family, or does it eat at her? Does she visit his grave?
    • Does she have any interest in reconnecting with her other son, Sebastian?
