Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

    • Name, PB and gender are negotiable;
    • This person is meant to represent something Diana Sharpe forgot to erase about her past. For her to forget about it, they must have not had an actual meaningful interaction for an extended period of time/constant exposure that she was aware of back during her last two years in Mildura;
    • The connection is meant to be a one-sided romantic one to justify obsessive tendencies. It could be that this character had a thing for her from afar but never actually got to act on it before she, as well as her brother, vanished. They're the one who did notice her for a change, and when they did, they couldn't look away;
    • Secondary education completed in the Balcolyn Institute of Magic, and tertiary in the Perinth University for Practical Magic;
    • What they teach is your choice;
    • It could be their feelings are a borderline obsession;
    • Anything else is up to you.

    They are quite friendly and energetic, always with pep in their speech and a smile to give to their friends and students. They are of the belief that an upbeat atmosphere, good mood and entertaining exercises are conducive to learning, and as such they're quick to attain a bit of a rep of being a clown in their area. They don't let that get them down and let their natural goofiness win the hearts of everyone around them, believing that laughter is the best medicine.

    This character grew up somewhere in New South Wales, although they have family in Mildura, VA. Both sides of the family are quite close, and as such their side of the family always went to that little town during breaks. It was during this breaks, over the course of many years, that this character had the opportunity to watch Diana Sharpe from afar. She is the type to either go completely under the radar or to accidentally mesmerize the person for a long period the time. The effect this character endured was, unfortunately, the latter.

    The years went by as they could only see her running around with her little brother, not knowing she was a witch at all, or taken, or where she went to school; but during the break between the end of their education at Balcolyn Institute of Magic and the start at Perinth University for Practical Magic, they noticed something very distressing - Diana and her brother were completely gone from Mildura. It was as if they never existed, as their parents didn't even seem to remember them at all. There were no pictures, no gossip, no nothing. While they grew suspicious of the fact she was a witch (perhaps it could be she placed a memory charm? Or that she was forcibly removed?), they couldn't track her down via QuillBook as it was an expense she just couldn't afford at the time. They went on with their lives with the blonde always in the back of their mind, heartbroken over potentially not being able to see her again. Try as they might, they just couldn't get over her.

    They concluded their education in teaching and found an open position in Tallygarunga, making the trip across state borders once again to settle down in Narragyambie. They have no idea how close they are to their ultimate target...

    • They need to find Diana first. It could be they see her brother's name in their class sheet, could be they see her during one of her visits to the boy; could even be that they spot one of her articles in The Mage newspaper and initiate their hunt for their long lost love, both in person and online.
    • How will they adjust to the new school setting?
    • How will they react to realizing that Diana has no clue of who they are?
    • Will they use their knowledge to their benefit (i.e. blackmail), or will they help the girl they have no chance with hide her past permanently?
