Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

    • PB/race are negotiable;
    • Her original surname was Owen, which was changed to Haynes during their exile to Australia. Now it's Estrada due to being taken in by that family;
    • Could have been born pretty much anywhere, as their group traveled a lot;
    • She is Danielle Estrada's adopted sister. They are both dhampirs, orphans, and formerly in the foster care system;
    • Danielle is quite worried about how she will process the loss of two separate sets of parents at such a young age, which is something that should most definitely be explored;
    • Danielle tries to keep her blood lust at bay via a steady supply of animal blood and blood-flavored lollipops;
    • Presently in Whitlam Bilby's fifth grade regardless of magical prowess for her own protection;
    • Given that she was raised during war time and taught to fend for herself since she was very young, she's a very capable witch despite only being at the start of her academic career;
    • Danielle made sure she never had to kill anyone during the various altercations they endured;
    • Multilingual (Danielle herself speaks 5 languages fluently to facilitate the constant travelling);
    • Very limited knowledge about how the Muggle world works, as well as interpersonal relationships;
    • Occasional separation anxiety when Danielle isn't around;
    • Prefers indoor activities;
    • Anything else is up to you.

    It's hard to ingest the fact a girl so young has witnessed so many horrors, and still managed to retain a modicum of childlike innocence and wonder through the years. Faith is a quiet one, awfully used to losing those close to her. She keeps to herself and has it ingrained in her to avoid attention in general - a bit of a tough thing to do as she's a registered Dhampir, and as such the target of bullying and discrimination, much like her older sister. Appearances are quite deceiving when it comes to her, however - while she looks like a frail, kind soul who wouldn't hurt a fly and is horribly clumsy, she's actually a witch to be feared, especially for her age - she'd give a lot of older Tallygarunga students a run for their money.

    Little Faith was born to Lily Annalise and Reid Isaac Owen. The trio traveled together all over the world with Danielle's family, and together they ran from their persecution for the entirety of Faith's life - the opposing Dhampir had bad blood with their own, and they were just caught in the crossfire. One by one they dropped like flies as the parents ran while protecting their little girls. Faith's mother Lily perished shortly after her baby girl was born. Eventually so did her father, and Danielle's mother Taya. She was then adopted by Danielle's father, William, but he perished within the past year, leaving both girls fully orphaned.

    They escaped their latest conflict and were rescue by a part of their Dhampir sect in China. They were ultimately cast out for their own safety and exiled in Australia - it was deemed the safest thing to do for their sake as no enemy knew their name or age, or how they looked like, and some don't even know they exist.

    They arrived Tallygarunga in November 2018 and have been adjusting to this less-than-chaotic life ever since. With Danielle being a sixth year in Bourke and Faith being a fifth grader in Whitlam Bilby, they now have to deal with the fact that maybe, just maybe, they're actually safe.

    Halfway through 2019, they have been taken in by the Estrada family and live in their highly protected house. Can Faith truly adapt to a mostly idyllic, mundane life?

    • How did she adapt to all the death surrounding her upbringing? How is she dealing with the sudden calmness? How does she engage with others, if at all?
    • Danielle hangs out her every day after school, brings her blood-flavored lollipops and cool bottles of animal blood, and tries to check up on her. How is their relationship going at this point?
    • How is she adapting to life with the Estradas?
