    • Name and PB are negotiable;
    • She is Rachel Ryan's mother. Despite her caring for her daughter, their relationship should be borderline non-existent due to having to work all the time, which resulted in accidental child neglect;
    • Is a member of the International Wizarding Police, and was sent out a lot - originally Irish (Rachel is from Dublin), they moved around the UK during the first ten years of Rachel's life; after her third year in Hogwarts they had to move to New York, and two years after that they had to move to Toronto and effectively removed their daughter from the formal magical education system, and had to blend in with the Muggles. They wound up having to go to Australia recently, and enrolled their daughter in Tallygarunga;
    • You can go in depth into their previous missions (of your choice), so long as they match their traveling routes through the years and display reasoning for pulling Rachel from school;
    • Competent Occlumens and powerful witch in general;
    • In her new assignment, she's been placed in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in an oversight/desk type of position (you may choose the specifics), as means of keeping an eye on the corrupt Ministry body and reporting to IWP as necessary;
    • Likes reading pretty much everything under the sun, of any genre whatsoever, and has a trunk she carries around in her travels with a charm to expand its capacity. It's practically a library inside it, and she often spends her (very little) free time inside this trunk;
    • Anything not specified is up to you.

    Much like her husband, Ashton has a penchant for overprotecting her comrades; but instead of approaching them in the way a friend would or even displaying warmth towards them, her means of protecting often involves throwing the book at whoever decides to mess with them. This has attained her a reputation of being strict over the years, and her rise through the ranks of the IWP firmly established as an individual to be feared, and most importantly, the last person one should cross. She is very well aware of this aura she exudes, and while not particularly a fan of it, she employs it when she sees she has to. Nobody touches those whom she cares for, and those who do will invariably face her wrath. Few have lived to tell the tale, in a manner of speaking.

    She prefers to describe herself more as the 'tranquil fury' type of individual - she doesn't like raising her voice or to face needless conflict, preferring to solve issues in a civilized manner first - people usually say, however, that the calmer she sounds, the more dangerous she's becoming. On the other side of the coin, she often displays kindness to her subordinates by going out of their way to ensure they get assigned specific missions that are of relevance to them, or anonymously imparting information she deems they have the right to know, among other things.

    She was formerly a Hit Wizard whom got scouted by the IWP, wherein she met her husband. The career path she followed in the agency was in stark contrast with her original occupation, as she was eventually promoted off the field and to desk, oversight and commanding positions - something she greatly relished in, due to excelling in the politics game (although, she'd argue she hates dealing with a number of individuals above her and often makes use of minor technicalities to get on their nerves).

    Despite effectively outranking her husband, they're often assigned to the same missions in different capacities, or to one another's immediate vicinity - perhaps this is her pulling strings from her high position, or not.

    • In all likelihood, she is painfully aware of the neglect she and her husband inadvertently put Rachel through. As they settle down, perhaps it's time to actually try and play an appropriate mother figure for the fiery redhead.

    • As they slow down, Ashton should figure out what she wants to do with the early retirement they've planned on for so long. Help with the farm? Or perhaps open her own little side business?

    • To better report on corruption in the Ministry, she should probably get cozy with her fellow Ministry people, right?
