Welcome to Tallygarunga, an original roleplay set in the Harry Potter universe. Set in present-day Australia, tensions are high between the Ministry of Magic and the only Ministry-run wizarding school in the country. Become like the other snooty private schools? Not a chance.

Originally established in August 2006, Tallygarunga prides itself on an inclusive and active community. Once part of the Tally family, always part of the Tally family. Whether you're here for the first time, the thousandth time, or returning after a long time---welcome home.

Stella is a slight figure, short, thin and surprisingly imposing. Her ankles and wrists are covered in beaded bracelets and various charms from people she has met and places she has gone. Stella has rather pale skin but her hair is a vibrant red.  Her hair is usually the thing people remember most about her.  She also has a piercing stare. She is  often told she appears to look right through someone.

Stella is rather reserved and guarded.  Her family was close knit and traveled a lot.  She never had an actual home as a kid as the family sent most of their time living at camps and she did not make too many friends as a child.  Stella however did not feel as if she was missing out.  When she went to Tally her personality started to come out.  She was s till reserved but she made friends and found she had a rather sarcastic sense of humor.  After the transformation she withdrew a little more, not fully comfortable with her new found abilities she had become a bit awkward in her body.  However she has become more outgoing.

Connections:Optional. As your character meets and collects new friends and foes, you can note down the connections here -- or list existing ones if they already have them!
Significant Dates:Optional. Remembering dates is hard, so if there are particular dates you want to list that are important to your character, here is a nice field to put them in!

Born under a full moon Stella was the first daughter.  Her parents believed very strongly she would one day carry on their line and did everything in their power to protect her and make sure she had a respectable husband. The problems with Stella soon presented themselves by her fifth birthday, she was naturally curios and always off exploring. They had to move more frequently for they feared Stella would abandon them in her search for information and knowledge. At first Stella loved the life, she was always hanging on to the hem of her mother’s skirt as she told fortunes and gave love potions and other herbs and salves to boost fertility or lull you to sleep. There was something absolutely magical about watching her mother in her small tent making and sharing the family secrets. The family had been in Melbourne when Stella’s disenchantment with her family started to happen.

At age 11 the letter for school came and though her parents fought her on it, Stella attended Tally.  There she really thrived, she found herself interested in the many thing that magic offered and she learned that she also had the ability to read palms and Tarot and that it was not just something people did for money.  Her family was not too interested in the questions she had about magic.  They were not too interested and found that they were stand offish when she went home.

Stella was 17 and her mother had sent her to the farmers market with a very specific list of items to gather and as usual Stella detoured to the local coffee shop and book store.  Stella usually liked to detour when she got the chance.  It was during this detour that Stella ran into a vampire.  It was not an un common thing as she had gone to Oliphant instead of the market her mother wanted her to.  The attack is something she doesn’t remember but she woke in the hospital where her new nature was explained to her.  Her parents however were not very happy and they no longer called her a daughter due to her “disposition” as they tell others.  Stella left. She was not sure how she would survive but a friend she made in school was able to convince her family to take Stella in.  The truth was she rather enjoyed time with them and they treated her better than her family had when she was just a plain King.

It was a difficult year as she learned what she was and what that meant.  She struggled in school that last year and barely graduated.  It was hard to get all the course work in as she could only do so many classes. Stella looked for After graduating Tally she made money by reading palms and tarot card on the street. She then decided to go to VMU with her friend and they were able to find a small place together.  Stella found that she was very lucky to have such a good friend.  Something she had not had before.  It was easier to take night classes and she got a job as a bartender at one on the popular clubs in Melbourne.  She is currently studying Magical Law and Government.
