- Her hair is short and white, but it used to be red. Maeve has discovered the joys of glamour charms to restore the red to her hair regularly. She says there's growing old gracefully and there's growing old gracefully and not showing it. Her eyes are grey, and her skin is pale and wrinkled. She dresses in comfortable clothes and in winter its not unusual to find her in handknit sweaters or ruanas when she goes out paired with tweed skirts or slacks. She likes a sturdy shoe for hiking when going birdwatching. Maeve however, can dress up just as well as any one and likes tailored and classic styles.

- Family first. She's very much the matriarch of her family and very protective of them. However, she's a very strong willed woman who will stand up for what she believes in and don't cause trouble for her son or grandchildren or you'll find out how powerful a witch she is. Yet, she's a very calm and loving woman who is practical about things, both magical and muggle. Maeve lived through the wizarding wars, though not as violent as they had been in England, they were still felt here as well. Never one to consider anyone's blood status a reason to shun them, she and her husband did what they could to help and eventually became involved with the Victorian chapter of Muggles United as well.

Maeve is a pureblooded Irish witch schooled at Hogwarts. She was sorted into Ravenclaw and was top of her class in Charms. She met Esras's dad, Caedmon in Perth, Western Australia, and married him in 1964. Their two boys, Esras and Kaelan, were born in 1968 and 1971, respectively. They moved to Victoria in 1971 and their boys attended Tallygarunga.
Maeve lived through the wizarding wars, though not as violent as they had been in England, they were still felt in Australia as well. Never one to consider anyone's blood status a reason to shun them, she and her husband did what they could to help and eventually became involved with the Victorian chapter of Muggles United as well. An Office Administrator in Muggle Relations at the Ministry, she was able to provide assistance when Robert Ashton began forming the Victorian branch.
Ironically, or serendipitously, her son Esras met, fell in love with and married a lovely muggle young woman named Charlotte. For a while, Maeve and Caedmon hid any use of magic when Charlotte was there, but eventually she caught on and the couple were married, resulting in three lovely granddaughters.
She was widowed in 2000 when Caedmon died from an aneurysm in the brain. She moved in with her son Esras after his wife Charlotte died in 2006 in an automobile accident. She is helping to raise her three granddaughters, Araeya, Delphine, and Kerry.
Maeve loves knitting and even taught Esras how to knit as well and she herself has begun crocheting as well over the years since Caedmon died. She still takes long walks which she combines with birdwatching, a hobby her naturalist husband introduced her to and something she hopes to pass on to the girls. Maeve can often be found in the kitchen cooking meals for the family which she enjoys doing as well as baking, especially around holidays. - General Knowledge:
