Delia is of mixed race with a black mother and a white father. Her skin is a creamy sort of beige color. On a heart shaped face is a light scattering of freckles and long lashes over her eyes. Her hair is curly and usually worn in a lengthy ponytail that falls down her back. She weighs 140 lbs and is 4'8" but rather than overweight, she's just a bit thick.
Delia is the type that's proud to be a girl. She just loves knowing that she's of the female gender. As a result, the girl prefers dressing in a way that expresses of femininity. Skirts, dresses, outfits with ruffles, ribbons. Why there's even a large ribbon around her ponytail. And of course, there must be color. Lots of color. She'll wear every color that exists as long as there's something to go with it. Her shoe of choice would be sandals because they let her feet breathe. Make up is a sometimes kind of thing. She enjoys wearing it because it makes her feel pretty but she doesn't do it often. It's a lot of work to keep up and that gets tiring. - Personality:

Delia is an outgoing girl who loves being outside. It's one of her favorite places to be. In fact, you'd almost think she lived there. She can be introverted when she'll spend hours reading books... but more often than not, the girl will be doing all that reading outside rather than in. There's hardly anything she doesn't know about flora and fauna. In spite of the fact that she's a little anxious in the dark, she finds the night sky to be one of the most gorgeous things in existence.
She's particularly friendly, bright and cheery. And can be very talkative. Especially about things that interest her. There's a curious streak in her too so you can bet a lot of her talking will be in the form of questions about you, your life and whatever else seems important to know. Delia likes making friends and rather wants people to like her. It bothers her terribly if someone doesn't and she'll put all her energy into finding out why and how to fix it. Confrontation she usually tries to avoid 'cause she doesn't like fighting. Yet at the same time, Delia is a very impatient, stubborn, mildly spoiled and easily frustrated girl... with a vicious temper to boot. It can make her hard to deal with. It doesn't take much to upset the girl as her skin isn't that thick. If she's not angry then you have a possibility for crying on her part. But if you ever hurt her just enough, Delia will freeze you out. And she's a little more prone to violence and witchiness at this state. - History:

Delia's parents met each other when they were teens. In the literal sense, they were high school sweethearts though they broke up off and on. It wasn't until their mid twenties that they realized they wanted no one else and got into a permanent committed relationship. A few years later, they conceived a daughter: Delia.
Delia grew up in a wonderful home with wonderful parents who pretty much spoiled her, showering her with love and gifts and love and gifts... Ironically enough, they weren't always around though. Indeed, Delia spent a lot of her leisure time with the nanny in the daytime. The nights on the other hand were with her mom and dad. Such is the life of a child of two businesspeople. But she didn't seem to mind because she never had to worry about being lonely. And they did spend birthdays and holidays together so it didn't feel like they were much different from other families. Life was normal for her. When her powers kicked in at 9 years old, there was quite a bit of joy and then she lived the life of a regular young witch until she reached school age.
Delia didn't do much for hobbies. She was fine with reading and taking various walks and such outside. But overtime, it occurred to the family that it'd be good to have her cultured so they chose to find her one. It took many tries before they had her focused on music. The piano. Delia hated it. Not playing but the evil puppy of a teacher. In the end, she quit and put up such a huge fuss, everyone let it go. Though they werent' happy and to this day, her grandparents at least try to guilt her back into it.
Her parents were nice enough to let her pick where she was going. But being lazy, Delia opted to leave it to them and she'd just go wherever was picked. In all honesty, the fear of going to a school for snobs didn't seem to be a factor. All the same, she was happy enough to learn that they'd decided on Tallygarunga. She knew very little about it herself but her parents had gone there and it was convenient enough that she wouldn't be too far from home in case she ever got homesick. Not that she worried about that but her parents seemed to care so it only made sense.
So she went and now it's her second year. She looks forward to it yet is freaked out at the same time. - Secrets:
