The following is acceptable uniform for students of Tallygarunga. The only acceptable piercings are ears only. The school colours are khaki-brown, bottle-green and gold.

Girls:

Summer:

- Bottle green 'Princess Style' checked college dress.
- Khaki shorts.
- White short-sleeve dress shirt.
- White socks.
- Black/brown lace-up shoes / brown sandals (not suitable for some classes).
- Lightweight khaki robes with school emblem (for school events).

Winter:

- Khaki slacks.
- White long-sleeve dress shirt.
- White socks.
- Black/brown lace-up shoes.
- Khaki robes with school emblem (for school events).
- Khaki-bottle green checked skirt, with skin-toned stockings.

Boys:

Summer:

- White short-sleeve dress shirt.
- Khaki shorts.
- White socks.
- Black/brown lace-up shoes.
- Lightweight khaki robes with school emblem (for school events).

Winter:

- White long-sleeve shirt.
- Khaki trousers.
- White socks.
- Black/brown lace up shoes.
- Khaki robes with school emblem (for school events).

Optional Items for All Seasons:

- Olive wollen jumper, with bottle green bands about the neck and wrists.
- School tie - khaki coloured with stripes in house colour.
- School blazer, essential for school excursions during terms two and three.
- School hat - essential for all outdoor activities during terms one and four.

Sports Uniforms:

Inter-House Sports Uniforms:

- Khaki polo shirt, banded in house colour.
- Bottle green cotton shorts.
- Quidditch robes in house colour (supplied).
- Sports socks.
- Appropriate shoes, without brand name.

Inter-School Sports Uniforms:

- Khaki polo shirt, banded in bottle green and gold.
- Bottle green cotton shorts / trousers.
- Quidditch robes in school colours (supplied).
