Okay, I'm looking for a bit of clarification here. I've been told that we sign up for our classes, but beyond that I'm not sure how to go about things.

Is there a limit on how many classes I can sign up for? Are there certain classes I'm REQUIRED to take? Are there any classes that require prerequisites, like being a certain year or above, or are all classes open to everyone regardless of grade? When I have classes, How does everything work? Do I just keep an eye out for my class to start? Are there separate classes for different years?

I'm looking for all this and more on classes at Tally. If I didn't ask, and you think it's worth noting, tell me. I want to make sure I understand how this board works before I jump into it. Sure I can edit, but I'd rather do it right the first time. Best that way.

You can sign up for as many classes as you like or no classes and just mention in your threads "Oh I'm taking..." While there are classes in canon required, we don't require you rp them as everyone's RL permits different amounts of RP.

We do ask that if you sign up, please keep up with them however.

Once signed up, keep an eye out for newly posted or currently running classes and join in.

If a professor posts different classes for different years, it will be marked in the heading or sub heading of the post.

If a class is only for a certain level of students (eg: Advanced Alchemy) it will state the requirements on the Sign up Post.

Does that help?

I appologize for the double post, but unless this place works differently than anywhere else I've been, an edit won't bump the topic, and I had a couple more questions and I wanted to make sure they were seen.

First of all, do I have to wait for a responce from the professor telling me I'm in the class, or am I automatically in? And if there is a class currently running when I sign up, am I supposed to join that class in the middle, or do I wait for the next new class to start?

Next, what about timeline issues? I know that this place has a one place at a time rule, which is a very good thing. So what happens when a class posts and I'm in the middle of a scene that can't really be broken off? Or beyond that, what if multiple classes post at the same time? Do we just assume that these things take place a differnt times, in order to be friendly to the timeline and respectful of the flow of an existing scene? Or do I have to pick and choose which running class I want to be in, and cut off my scene prematurely to accomodate a class?
