A small stand where staff and students can pick up the day's newspaper, whether to pass the time or keep up with appearances, it's always good to know what's going on in the wider world. |
| The Gawler Building | |||
The first building, hidden amongst the bushes at the end of a long dirt road, the Gawler Building is a piece of modern architecture in the dry Victorian bush. |
| Kookynie Halls | |||
The long thin building running along the west side of the school. Also the oldest building on campus, Kookynie Halls once housed the administration and dormitories as well as classrooms. |
| Southern Cross Tower | |||
To the south of the school lies the Southern Cross Tower, connected to the main buildings by a thin covered corridor. It was built to include the Astronomy and Divination classes, as well as provide a room for students of all houses to gather and socialise. |
| Eureka Underground Hallway | |||
One of the most interesting features of the school, the Eurekea Underground Hallway is an old mineshaft rennovated into a useful (if cold and damp) series of corridors, classrooms and dormitories. |
| Tarnagulla Centre | |||
Rebuilt to house a more modern hospital wing, the centre was largely funded by the Tarnagulla family, who took over the school in the early fifties. The building was later extended again to accommodate classrooms, and dormitories. |
| Whitlam Bilby Wing | |||
In August 2011, Tallygarunga opened up this new wing in order to hold the classes for the new junior sections of the school. All classes from Prep to Grade 5 are held in here, and outside there are a couple of playgrounds around the building, fenced off from the senior Tally students (not that it would stop some). |
| The Grounds | |||
The dry gardens of Tallygarunga, humming to the sound of native animals in the surrounding bushlands. Full of places to sit and relax, as well as a few out of sight areas where mischief is more than likely to occur. |

Lying between Narragyambie, and Tallygarunga Academy of Magic, the Murrigal Bushlands are thick and full of interesting surprises. |
| Tallygarunga Road | |||
The main drag of Narragyambie, starting some distance from the school some kilometres out of the town itself and going through the town to the Narragyambie-Melbourne highway. Home to the more popular shops of Narragyambie, and generally the most affordable. |
| Narragyambie Shopping Centre | |||
The shopping center of Narragyambie, the shopping centre has shops to sell anything you wish to buy, for any price you're prepared to pay. Not always as classy as the outer shopping areas, it's a great place to just hang out. |
| Calder Avenue | |||
Heading towards the swish part of town, Calder Avenue passes the local hospital and Footy Park - a favourite haunt of people of all ages. |
| Koonyah | |||
The slightly poorer area of Narragyambie, Koonyah is made up mostly of housing. It is not a place to be walking around at night? but the prices are cheap and affordable. Just make sure you lock your doors and windows. |
| Lausler Park | |||
The newest estate in Narragyambie, and by far the most affluent. Centering around the beautiful Victoria Reserve, Lausler Park offers all the creature comforts of the city at a country town price. |

Home of the Victorian Ministry of Magic, inner city Melbourne. |
| Western Suburbia | |||
Known for it's multicultural lifestyle, the western suburbs are an interesting place to be. Also the less affluent district of Victoria's capital, be careful what you eat - because you never know if it's going to kill you. |
| Central Business District | |||
The very city itself! Alive with lights, colours.. and often soaking with rain, the city offers the very best (and most expensive) in shopping, theatre and dining. |
| South Melbourne | |||
It has the pier and markets and bee trams and Luna Park and the best fish n chip shop evar. |
| Eastern Suburbs | |||
The classier side of Melbourne, full of rich residential areas and high priced shopping. As well as all the best gardens and beaches. |
Victoria University of Magic
| |||
A magical university with a variety of majors for students to attend after graduation from Tallygarunga and other wizarding schools. Home to a large magical research library, staff and students can also utilize it for studies. |
| Oliphant Lane | |||
The magical sector of Melbourne, muggles see nothing but a deserted alley, wizards and those who know better can find their favorite wizarding shops and healers here. |
