The main drag of Narragyambie, starting some distance from the school some kilometres out of the town itself and going through the town to the Narragyambie-Melbourne highway. Home to the more popular shops of Narragyambie, and generally the most affordable.


    Mrs Kempsey's Corner Store

  1. The ever-popular milkbar of Narragyambie. Mrs Kempsey is known for her tendency to discount lollies for particularly nice, or friendly children.

  2. Basil's Internet Cafe

  3. Looking for a cuppa, or a bit of time on the Muggle's Magic? Step inside for a cup of coffee and some time on the interwebs.

  4. The Drunken Roo

  5. The local bar of Narragyambie, a favourite of the elder students and professors alike.

    Note: Only students fifteen years and older will be permitted in The Drunken Roo. The bartender reserves the right to throw out any underage students, and house points will be deducted by professors.

  6. Zoom's Brooms

  7. The largest collection of brooms in Narragyambie, Zoom's stocks not only school-level brooms, but caters for the public and sporting societies as well. Prices start from your average, cheap mightmaybeflymaybe broom, to luxury expensive models.

  8. Post Office

  9. Write and send letters to your friends, family or whoever strikes your fancy.

  10. Hoots & Whispers

  11. The local pet store, Hoots And Whispers breed not only a fine selection of mailing owls, but also rats, mice, cats, puppies, and various lizards.

  12. Will o' the Wisp Wands

  13. Few beings in existence known wands better than a fairy, and the owner of this store is a cheeky one, but surely knows her wands and has been servicing the area ever since Tallygarunga first set up. She hires only staff who pass the tests she sets, of wand knowledge. She also loves sweets.
